Massage three pairs of acupoints to nourish the heart and kidney.
The viscera theory of traditional Chinese medicine holds that "the heart and kidney intersect", and the heart belongs to fire and stores essence; Kidney belongs to water, storing essence. These two zang-fu organs interact and restrict each other to maintain normal physiological activities. So everyone needs transportation, heart and kidneys to ensure good health. In fact, it is not difficult to connect the heart and kidney, because everyone has three pairs of acupuncture points connected with the heart and kidney.

The first pair: Shenmen point with Taixi point

Shenmen point is the origin of the heart meridian of hand shaoyin, which is located at the wrist, the ulnar end of carpometacarpal transverse stripes and the radial depression of flexor carpi ulnaris tendon. Taixi point is the original point of the kidney meridian of Foot Shaoyin, which is located at the inner side of the foot, behind the medial malleolus, and in the depression between the tip of the medial malleolus and the achilles tendon. One of the two acupoints belongs to the heart meridian and the other belongs to the kidney meridian. When these two acupoints are massaged together, they have the function of communicating the heart and kidney.

The second pair: Laogong point with Guanyuan point.

Laogong point is one of the acupoints of pericardium meridian of hand jueyin, which is located in the palm of your hand, between the second metacarpal bone and the third metacarpal bone, and at the fingertip of your middle finger when making a fist. Guanyuan point is one of the acupoints of Renmai, which is located on the anterior median line and 3 inches below the umbilicus. Laogong point belongs to pericardium meridian, and the function of pericardium meridian and heart is equivalent. Laogong point leads directly to heart qi, and Guanyuan is the foundation of human vitality, which is related to kidney qi. Massage these two points with the palm of your hand to make the heart and kidney intersect.

The third pair: Laogong point with Yongquan point

Laogong point is one of the acupoints of pericardium meridian of hand jueyin. Yongquan point is one of the acupoints of the kidney meridian of Foot Shaoyin, which is located at the foot bottom, at the front depression of the foot when the foot is curled up, and at the intersection of the front 1/3 and the back 2/3 of the line connecting the second and third toe lines of the sole with the heel. Never press this acupoint by gravity.

Before going to bed every night, pressing two acupoints can make the heart and kidney intersect, help sleep and lower blood pressure.
