For people with cold diet and heavy spleen and stomach chill, ginger and jujube can be used for health preservation; If the spleen and stomach are deficient in cold, ginger, ginseng and atractylodes macrocephala can be used for health preservation; If the yang is weak and the cold and dampness are strong, ginger, galangal and pepper can be used for health preservation; In ancient books, ginger, codonopsis pilosula and Paeonia lactiflora are collocated for those with deficiency of spleen and stomach.

3. Ginger is cold and warm.

Ginger health care can "warm the lungs and dissolve the drink", but many people only know that ginger warms the spleen and stomach but don't know its function of "warming the lungs, resolving phlegm and dispelling cold". In herbal books of past dynasties, ginger can detoxify pinellia tuber, rhizoma arisaematis and other medicinal materials, as well as wild birds and mushrooms. "Compendium of Materia Medica" records that "all kinds of drugs are poisonous and eat bamboo chicken partridge", which can be detoxified with ginger juice; Sun Simiao also recorded that eating fish and crabs, ginger, perilla leaves and licorice can all be poisoned.

However, when keeping healthy with ginger, one thing must be understood, that is, the disadvantages of ginger. "Compendium of Materia Medica" records that "eating ginger for a long time, accumulating heat and drinking too much, makes it grow very fast", which shows that ginger should not be eaten more, especially when drinking. In addition, ginger is pungent and helps fire, although it can dispel cold, but it also helps "fire evil" and "heat evil", so it is best not to eat it for those with excessive heat and yin deficiency.
