Today, there are five schools in Tai Ji Chuan: Chen, Yang, Wu, Wu and Sun.

1. Biography of Chen Taiji: Mainly influenced by Professor Chen Changxing of Chenjiagou, Henan Province, among which Chen Fake is the most famous. It is characterized by combining rigidity with softness and combining speed, which can be divided into new racks, old racks, large racks and small racks.

Biography of Yang Tai: Yang Luchan learned boxing from Yang Changxing, then went to Beijing to give boxing, and passed it on to his sons Yang Jianhou and Yang Jianhou to Yang Chengfu, and then it was widely circulated in Yang Chengfu. It is characterized by uniform, gentle and generous stretching.

Wu Tai Ji Chuan: Nang first learned from Yang Luchan, and later went to Zhaobao, Henan Province, which was perfected by his brother Wu's clarification of Wang Zongyue's Tai Ji Chuan Pu in Yandian, Wuyang, Henan Province. It is characterized by flexible movements and fast footwork. Sun Shi Tai Ji Chuan: Plane Sun Lutang, whose boxing originated from Hao Weizhen and was improved. It is characterized by opening and closing, ups and downs, compactness and walking.

Wu's Taiji Biography: Wu studied under his father Wu Quanyou (a disciple of Yang Luchan) and became a family of his own. It is characterized by compactness, flexibility and moderate size.

In addition, Tai Ji Chuan can be divided into the following three types according to the size of the rack: 1. Large format: Chen, Yang, eighty-eight, twenty-four and forty-two usually use large format. The big rack is characterized by generous fists and light spirit. 2. Middle frame: represented by Wu Tai Ji Chuan, his boxing frame is moderate in size and good at softening. 3. Small posture: represented by Sun Shi Tai Ji Chuan, the posture is compact and vivid.
