What bath can detoxify?
Choose a day with plenty of time to take a detoxification bath, with at least 40 minutes of free time. The first 20 minutes can be used to help the body detoxify, and the last 20 minutes can be used to absorb minerals in the water.

Fill the bathtub with comfortable hot water. If possible, use a filter to filter out the chloride.

Add epsom salt (i.e. magnesium sulfate). Soaking in laxative solution can supplement magnesium content in the body and fight hypertension. [ 1]? Magnesium sulfate can excrete toxins and help brain tissues and joints form protein. [2]? Laxatives are not expensive, and pharmacies can generally buy them.

Children weighing less than 60 kg usually need to add half a cup of bath water.

People weighing 60 kg to 100 kg generally add 1 cup to the bath water.

People who weigh more than 100 kg generally need to add more than 2 cups of bath water.

Add 1 to more than 2 cups of baking soda (i.e. sodium bicarbonate). Baking soda is very popular because of its cleaning ability and antifungal properties. [3] It can also soften the skin. You can buy baking soda in the supermarket.

Add Jiang Mo or fresh ginger tea. This step can be added according to your preference. Ginger can make people feel hot and sweaty, which helps to excrete toxins. But because it will make the skin hot, the skin may turn slightly red in a few minutes. So the amount added should not be too much. Depending on the size of the bathtub and your skin sensitivity, you can add 1 spoon to a third cup.

If ginger is added to the bath water, most people will sweat a lot. If you come out of the bathtub and wrap a blanket, you can continue to sweat and detoxify for hours. This is especially beneficial for patients with colds or flu.

Add aromatherapy essential oil, this step is optional. Many people like the fragrance of essential oils, which also have some health benefits. There are many kinds of essential oils that can make bathing more enjoyable and comfortable (such as lavender and ylang ylang), and some essential oils can assist the detoxification process (tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil). Generally speaking, about 20 drops is enough.

You can use fresh herbs if you like. Add mint leaves (heating), lavender flowers (calming), chamomile (calming) or other herbs suitable for your mood.

Stir all kinds of additives in the bathtub, and then take a bath. It is recommended to take a bath for 40 minutes (the longer the better), at least 20 minutes. You should start sweating a few minutes after entering the bathtub.

If the bath water is too hot, you can add some cold water to the bathtub to adjust the water temperature.

When you come out of the bathtub, be slow and careful. Your body is busy detoxifying, and you may feel a little dizzy, weak or tired. Besides, the bathtub is slippery, so be careful not to fall.

Drink more water. Whenever your body detoxifies (bathing, massage or spinal acupressure therapy), you need to add more water to detoxify. If you don't drink water, you will feel a little uncomfortable.

After bathing, massaging the body with silk pulp or bath towel can stimulate the lymphatic system and help the body excrete toxins. [4] Massage should be gentle and direct towards the heart.
