Because there are many tastes and practices of eight-treasure porridge, we will simply look at the daily practices:

Ingredients: 50g of red beans, 300ml of purified water, 20g of peanut kernels, 50g of dried lotus seeds 15g, 50g of dried red dates, 50g of seedless red raisins, 50g of glutinous rice 180g of black rice, 50g of pine nuts 15g, 2200ml of purified water and 0/00g of crystal sugar.

Exercise:

1, washed red beans and peanuts, and then soaked in clear water for 2 hours;

2. Take out the soaked red beans and peanuts, put them in a pot and cook for about 30 minutes on medium heat;

3. Soak the lotus seeds for 2 hours, then remove the lotus plumule, wash the red dates and remove the core, and wash the raisins for later use;

4. Wash glutinous rice and black rice and soak them in clear water for two hours;

5. Then put the cooked red beans and peanuts, soaked lotus seeds, red dates, raisins, glutinous rice, black rice and pine nuts into a pot and cook them with high fire;

6. After the water boils, turn to medium-low heat and cook for about an hour and a half. However, it should be noted that it is best to put two chopsticks on the edge of the pot and lift the lid to avoid water overflow. In the process of boiling, it is also necessary to stir occasionally with a spoon to avoid sticking to the pot (one-way stirring will increase the viscosity of eight-treasure porridge);

7. Finally, add rock sugar, stir it a little, and then cook for 30 minutes on low heat.
