I have been working as a physical education teacher since I started teaching. Great changes have taken place in sports in recent years. For various reasons, many students have lost interest in sports. However, in line with the function of educating people and the requirements of curriculum reform, I improve the means and methods in physical education teaching to stimulate students' interest in physical education. Let's talk about my practice of cultivating students' interest in sports in physical education.
First, a correct understanding of students' interest in learning
Interest is the psychological tendency of people to know something or love something, and it is an important subjective reason for motivation. People's interest is not innate, it is formed and developed in the process of life and practice on the basis of needs. Students' learning attitude is often related to their interest in what they have learned. The purpose of cultivating students' interest in learning is to cultivate their learning motivation. Psychological research has proved that interest and motivation are closely related, and interest is the most realistic and active component of learning motivation. Interest in learning makes students have the intention of trying to understand the world, eager to acquire scientific knowledge and constantly seek truth. Therefore, interest has been talked about in many works such as psychology, pedagogy and teaching theory. Rousseau regards children's needs and interests as the main basis of his educational thought. Herbart believes that teaching should be based on various interests, and puts forward that one of the most important tasks of educators is to arouse various interests.
Interest is the best teacher. In order to make students actively acquire knowledge and implement the new curriculum reform, we must stimulate students' interest in what they have learned in many ways, turn the specific requirements put forward by society and the new curriculum into students' internal learning motivation, and mobilize the potential learning enthusiasm that students have formed through education. Primary school physical education shoulders the task of developing students' bodies in an all-round way, cultivating their basic abilities and laying a good foundation. Therefore, it is of great significance to stimulate and cultivate students' interest in learning in physical education teaching in primary schools.
Second, correct students' attitude towards physical education ideologically.
Correcting students' thoughts and attitudes towards physical education is to change students' incorrect attitudes towards physical education through various effective ways and methods in the teaching process, so that physical education becomes an important part of students' conscious actions and life. At present, in many schools, it is common to only pay attention to the further education of the school and ignore the education of students' sports knowledge and skills, which leads many students to think that as long as their cultural achievements are good, their sports achievements will pass. As a result, many students lack a correct understanding of physical education, not only have low enthusiasm for physical education, but also have serious weariness. Therefore, as a school physical education teacher, we should first pay attention to changing students' thoughts, improving students' understanding of physical education, and cultivating and stimulating students' interest in physical education.
Third, make students have a clear purpose of physical education learning.
Pupils are young and have limited understanding. In the process of learning, they can't and won't have a completely correct understanding of the meaning, function and value of what they have learned, so as to achieve purposeful learning. Therefore, according to the physical and mental characteristics of primary school students and the actual situation of students, teachers should repeatedly carry out learning purpose education, reveal the social and personal significance of physical education learning, make students correct their learning attitude, and combine physical education learning with the realization of lofty ideals; Make students clearly understand the relationship between good health, good study and lifelong benefit in the future; Combine physical education class's study with the study of other cultural classes organically, so that students can understand that it is difficult to complete their study tasks without good physical fitness, and it is also difficult to play their due talents in the future. Stimulate students to actively exercise while mastering scientific knowledge and lay a good physical foundation. Moreover, teachers should correctly guide students' interests and prevent students from exercising simply from their interests. For those projects that students don't like but are very important for their all-round development, teachers should patiently educate, explain the significance of learning, take effective measures to guide students to learn, and use the law of interest transfer to transfer students' interest in a certain subject or project to physical education class.
Fourth, give play to the leading role of teachers and mobilize students' autonomy.
The teaching process is a bilateral activity in which teachers and students combine and influence each other, including teachers' leading role and students' autonomy (subjective role). The combination of the two is the foundation of the existence and development of the teaching process.
The leading role of teachers lies in whether they can create the best learning environment for students, so that students can develop in an all-round way in autonomy, inquiry and cooperation, stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, inspire students' spirit of inquiry, establish an equal teacher-student relationship with mutual respect and love, and make students have a happy learning mood. In this environment, students are the subjects of learning, not passive recipients. Let them see their progress in the process of learning movements, experience the happiness of success, and change the passive "I want to learn" into "I want to learn". In such a teaching environment, we can give full play to these two positive roles. The all-round development of students is carried out under the purposeful and planned setting, guidance and organization of teachers, rather than simply catering to students' hobbies.
Teachers' leading role lies in being able to choose appropriate teaching methods and steps to stimulate students' interest in learning. Therefore, teachers should dare to reform the old teaching model, attach importance to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, and make teaching methods flexible and diverse, so that teachers are handy and scholars are happy.
Fifth, design novel teaching methods to stimulate students' interest in learning.
If any course wants to be successful, it is very important to design teaching methods first. In the process of teaching, if teachers' teaching methods are boring and mechanical, students will get bored. On the contrary, if teachers use vivid, wonderful and inspiring methods in the teaching process, they will get twice the result with half the effort. For example, in the teaching of fast running, I found that many teachers always follow the traditional teaching mode of "explain-demonstrate-explain-practice-correct mistakes". As a result, not only did it not bring good results to students, but this boring teaching mode brought negative effects to students who were tired of learning. Then, teachers should flexibly use a variety of teaching means and methods according to the characteristics of teaching materials to stimulate and maintain students' interest in learning. In the teaching of "running", I took into account the lively and novel characteristics of primary school students. Therefore, when organizing teaching, competitive games such as "face-to-face relay race" and "30-meter round-trip relay race" are used to organize teaching, which makes the classroom atmosphere lively and thus makes the classroom teaching receive good results.
6. Use praise and criticism in teaching to arouse students' enthusiasm.
Pupils are young, hyperactive and have poor self-control, so it is inevitable that they will do something wrong in violation of discipline. Therefore, more and more teachers attach importance to and apply the scientific and reasonable use of praise, criticism and moral education infiltration in teaching to mobilize students' learning enthusiasm and stimulate students' learning interest. But we should pay attention to the methods, occasions and ways, which vary from person to person. Using it well can boost students' morale, enliven the classroom atmosphere and stimulate students' interest.
Seven, carry out extracurricular activities to stimulate students' enthusiasm for participating in sports.
According to students' hobbies and the actual situation of the school, some sports interest groups, such as basketball team, football team, track and field team, etc., are established. Give timely technical guidance and guidance, improve their technical level, and organize them to hold various sports friendly matches at ordinary times, so that they can feel and understand more about the fun and significance of sports, and at the same time induce more students to actively participate in and be interested in various sports. Use the annual "school sports meeting", "basketball match" and "tug-of-war" to promote students to participate in physical exercise at ordinary times and establish a lifelong awareness of physical exercise.
Eight, make full use of campus resources to stimulate students' thirst for knowledge.
In teaching, I sometimes show students some videos about sports competitions, such as NBA and World Cup. At the same time, students are also organized to read and collect relevant sports materials in the library. Make students know more about sports, at the same time guide students to do a good job in sports knowledge pictorial, vigorously publicize sports, and stimulate students' interest in sports and desire to participate.
Nine, establish a new relationship between teachers and students to stimulate students' interest.
The new teacher-student relationship is an active cooperative relationship based on democracy, equality, understanding and respect. In physical education teaching, an equal, friendly and harmonious relationship between teachers and students can make students have a good impression on teachers and interest in physical education class, so they are willing to accept teachers' guidance. For example, in teaching, teachers should participate in activities among students, understand and guide students' exploration activities, and often communicate with students in a consultative tone. In addition, physical education teachers should care about, respect and trust students everywhere, make friends with them, help students with learning difficulties build up their self-confidence, encourage students to put forward different opinions, thus forming ideological exchanges and emotional exchanges between teachers and students and stimulating students' enthusiasm for learning.
Interest is a powerful driving force for people to engage in activities, and people's interest occurs and develops in activities on the basis of needs. Therefore, physical education teachers should seriously study and understand the spirit of the new curriculum standard, update their concepts in time, tap students' potential, give full play to students' autonomy and creativity, cultivate students' sports interests and hobbies, and contribute their due strength to the formation of students' lifelong sports concepts.
