Basic Medical College (Institute of Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine) is a secondary college integrating colleges and universities. The School of Nursing of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established on the basis of the nursing specialty (specialty) of Shanghai Medical College, and was formally established on May 12, 2000. Brief introduction of medical technical college
Founded in 2000 1 month, Medical Technology College is a secondary college that integrates the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine health care and conforms to the requirements of the development of modern health care, focusing on cultivating medical higher vocational and technical personnel such as health care and management services. After seven years of management and construction, the college has developed from two majors of Chinese medicine pharmacy and health massage with more than 60 students to many majors of Chinese medicine pharmacy, medical beauty technology and Chinese medicine nutrition, with two off-campus branches and 555 students.
At present, there are teaching and research departments of traditional Chinese medicine nutrition, medical beauty technology and medical technology. On the basis of experts and professors from other secondary colleges and some external teachers, the college has established 12 "double-qualified" teachers, who have undertaken 1, 2 municipal scientific research projects and 3 school-level curriculum construction respectively.
The college follows the school-running philosophy of "Your demand is my direction" and actively explores the mode of school-enterprise cooperation. At present, we have signed an agreement with Beautiful Pastoral Beauty Co., Ltd. to train Chinese facial makeup students, established a relationship with Shanghai Kindergarten Association, conducted professional training in the later stage of Chinese medicine nutrition, and cooperated with Shanghai Lianshixuan Bioengineering Co., Ltd. to build a healthy laboratory, which provided a good platform for teachers and students to teach, research and practice.

Relying on the educational resources of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is an overseas Chinese medicine higher education institution. Since its establishment nearly 30 years ago, it has trained nearly 6,000 Chinese medicine practitioners, acupuncturists and physiotherapists for nearly 100 countries and regions around the world, and provided educational services for international students in all Chinese medicine hospitals in China for the first time. The college has more than 440 long-term international students, and the number of short-term international students is above 1000 every year. The college also has an international acupuncture training center entrusted by the World Health Organization (WHO), with four professional translation areas in English, Japanese, French and Korean, which can carry out multilingual educational exchange activities.
