Acupoint massage promotes the rise of Yang Qi.

According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, spring corresponds to the liver in the five internal organs. The liver is responsible for the circulation of qi and regulating qi. Normal liver function will make human qi flow smoothly, which is conducive to the rise of yang. Therefore, acupoint massage can be used in spring to soothe the liver and regulate qi, and to promote the rise of Yang Qi. It is suggested to give priority to Ganshu, Qimen, Taichong and Taixi.

Ganshu point and Qimen point Ganshu point are located in the back, under the spinous process of the ninth thoracic vertebra, and are 1.5 inch away from the posterior midline. Qimen acupoint is located in the chest, just below the nipple, and between the sixth ribs. Ganshu point is the back Shu point of the liver, and Qimen point is the recruitment point of the liver meridian. Ganshu and Qimen point matching belong to Shumu point matching method in acupuncture, which can play the role of soothing the liver, regulating qi, nourishing the liver and softening the liver.

Taichong point and Taixi point Taichong point are located on the instep, between the 1 and the second metatarsal, and in the depression in front of the metatarsal basal junction. Taichong point is the original point of liver meridian. Massage this point can not only nourish the vitality of the liver meridian, but also soothe the liver and regulate qi. Taixi point is located in the depression between medial ankle, medial ankle tip and achilles tendon. Taixi point is the original point of kidney meridian, and massage this point can cultivate the original qi of kidney meridian. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that liver and kidney are homologous, and pressing two acupoints, Taichong and Taixi, can play a role in tonifying liver and kidney. In addition, liver belongs to wood, kidney belongs to water, and water can contain wood. At the same time, Taichong point can be massaged with Taixi point, which can nourish water and contain wood to prevent excessive rise of liver qi.

Massage the above four acupoints can soothe the liver and regulate qi, nourish the liver and kidney, thus conforming to the characteristics of the liver and promoting the rise of yang. Specific massage method: when massaging Ganshu point, make fists with both hands and bend your arms, put your fist eyes or back on Ganshu point, and rub or press it on the point, with local redness and fever as the degree. When massaging Qimen point, put the palm of your hand at Qimen point, and do a left-right rubbing action along the ribs, with local redness and fever as the degree. When massaging Taichong and Taixi points, take a seat and rub the points with your thumb, with local soreness as the degree. Massage each acupoint for 3 to 5 minutes every day.

In addition to moxibustion and acupoint massage, outdoor exercise should be properly carried out in spring; Pay attention to calm mood and maintain physical and mental pleasure; You can eat some foods that nourish yang properly, such as bamboo shoots, leeks, Chinese toon buds and so on.
