On the Differences between Traditional Culture and Religion in China

Text/Cheng Mingzi

Human nature is interlinked. Seeking common ground while reserving differences requires the same human nature and keeping different personalities. On the premise of the same sex, we should respect each other's different personalities.

Religion has alienated human nature, so it is a return to human nature to return the essence of people alienated by religion.

Of course, human nature is alienated not only by religion, but also by matter, which makes people lose their original pure and natural nature and become slaves of matter. This requires getting rid of the alienation of things to people and returning to the essence of people.

Chinese studies are people-oriented, which is the basic content that distinguishes it from religion.

People-oriented in Chinese studies, including human body and spirit, are all human beings and do not belong to any external supernatural things. People are natural people, people are social people, people are people, people and nature, people and society, and people themselves are a unified whole. Man is himself only when he realizes that the essence of man belongs to man, not to "God" or other supernatural things.

Before Qin and Han Dynasties, China culture was not alienated by religion. China's culture is originally a simple people-oriented materialistic thought. This is the intellectual foundation of China culture.

No matter what we believe, we should put people first. If the cultural direction deviates from the people themselves, it is delusion and distractions.
