Classic health care for men after 40 years old.
Yesterday afternoon, Academician Yuan Longping, the father of hybrid rice, and Academician Wu, the father of hepatobiliary surgery in China, passed away one after another. It is so sad to lose two academicians in just five minutes!

Academician Wu is the pioneer and main founder of liver surgery in China and an internationally renowned expert in hepatobiliary surgery.

He has been a doctor for 78 years and saved the lives of 16000 patients with hepatobiliary diseases.

At the age of 90, he still sticks to the clinic, operating room and hospital bed until he retires at the age of 97.

Academician Wu devoted his whole life to the medical career he loved. Long-term surgery caused serious deformation of the index finger, but as long as he picked up the scalpel, he was still accurate and decisive. He devoted his whole life to relieving the suffering of patients and serving the people wholeheartedly.

Academician Wu, who is 90 years old, is still quick-thinking, and has to perform more than 200 liver operations every year. When asked how to maintain vigorous energy and physical strength all the time, Wu Lao said that his health care experience can be summarized in 20 words, namely, a balanced mind, a normal heart, hands and feet, keeping your mouth shut, and regular physical examination.

Academician Wu said that mental exercise can prevent brain cells from aging, while physical exercise can delay the process of organ aging. Life lies in exercise. Even at the age of ninety, he still goes to work every day. This is the best exercise.

Academician Wu said that physical examination is an important way to find diseases, and it is more important to prevent them before they happen. Therefore, he has to have a physical examination once a year. He also suggested that everyone should learn more health knowledge, take an active part in physical exercise and strengthen the prevention of diseases.
