Understanding Huangdi Neijing —— What is Tao?
"Tao" is the way we take literally. "Shuo Wen Jie Zi" says: "Tao is also the way we walk." The word "Tao" in bronze inscriptions consists of "line", "head" and "stop", that is, on the road of slate road, keep your eyes on the front and go straight ahead.

Laozi's Tao Te Ching uses the word "Tao" to explain his philosophical truth. For example, the Tao Te Ching begins by saying, "Tao can be Tao, which is extraordinary ... the mystery is mystery, which is the gateway to all miracles." This is the definition of Tao, which means that the Tao he said can be described, but the Tao he described is not what everyone usually says; ..... "Tao" is dark, you can't see anything, but everything comes from it. Then in the twenty-fifth chapter of the Tao Te Ching, he said: "Things are born of nature ... I don't know their names, and I argue irrationally for the strong words of Tao." It means that chaotic things existed long before heaven and earth ... I don't know what its name is, but I just call it Tao. In this way, we will understand that the "Tao" that Laozi said is the chaotic state before the formation of the universe.

At this time, people may say that Chapter 25 of the Tao Te Ching says, "The Tao gives birth to one, one, two, three and three things." What does this Tao mean? In fact, this "Tao" refers to its operating law. There are at least three operating rules of Tao: First, it can be called "the law of the origin of all things", which means that the universe has never produced the initial matter, and then divided it into yin and yang, so everything is reborn. Second, it is the law of "always follow everything". For example, Chapter 34 of Tao Te Ching says: "The road is broad and controllable. Everything depends on life, but not diligence, success but not fame. Clothes support everything, not the Lord. " Third, the principle of "endless and repeated circulation", such as Chapter 40 of Tao Te Ching: "The movement of Tao is opposed. The exploitation of the weak. There is nothing in the world, and there is nothing. " Therefore, there are both connections and differences between "Tao" and the operating law of Tao.

What is the meaning of "Tao" in Huangdi Neijing? "Spiritual fulcrum. Obey destiny "says:" The sage is a Taoist, and the heaven is above, the land is below, and the people are in harmony. To have a clear method, you can use the French method to check and detain, and you can pass it down later! " In other words, the path followed by saints should be consistent with the paradise on earth, the tunnel on earth and the change of human popularity. There must be clear rules to establish measurement standards and model rules before they can be passed on to future generations.

Oracle Bone Inscriptions's word "Tian" is to add a circle on the head of "Da" to indicate the space on the head. The ancients' understanding of the sky is supreme, and the running laws of the sky are as follows: the sun, the moon, the stars, the five elements of yin and yang, the ups and downs, etc. The notes of "Earth" and "Shuo Wen Jie Zi" are as follows: Earth is the beginning of the chaotic vitality of the universe, and the light and clear sun rises to heaven, and the heavy and turbid gloomy land shows everything here. So mountains, rivers, plants, insects and so on are all manifestations of the earth; Man is born by grasping the qi of heaven and earth. "Bao Ming's Theory of Holography" said: "Born in the earth, life hangs in the sky, and heaven and earth are in harmony, and life is called man." It is believed that man, like everything in the world, is the product of the feeling of yin and yang in the world and the result of the change of the natural laws of matter. Therefore, in addition to knowing the operation law of heaven and earth, we should also know people themselves and the relationship between people and heaven and earth. It can be seen that the "Tao" mentioned in Huangdi Neijing and the "Tao Te Ching" are interlinked, and Huangdi Neijing is mainly aimed at the operation law of "Tao"! In particular, the principle of "moving against the Tao" mentioned in the 40th chapter of Tao Te Ching, that is, the principle of "three return to two, two return to one, and one merge with the Tao" in Dan Dao, is the process of practicing essence, essence and spirit, and the spirit is also empty, so as to achieve the effect of replenishing essence and strengthening the body.

In Suwen. Regarding the innocence of ancient times, the Yellow Emperor asked: Why did ancient people keep moving when they were one hundred years old? Qi Bo A: It was known by the ancients. Therefore, health preservation must follow the operating law of Tao. Knowing the Tao, we can achieve "bright yin and yang, harmonious skills, moderate diet and regular daily life". Only by seriously practicing Tao, you will not "take wine as the pulp and run amok", and you will not "exhaust its essence and consume its truth"
