How to make the training of basic dance skills easy to complete?
Xiao Hua of Anyuan Teachers' Training School in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province has been engaged in dance teaching for a long time. I found that students regard basic training as a painful thing, and some students are afraid and avoid basic training because of this bitterness. As we all know, any dancer must undergo long-term and strict physical training. Professional dancers begin to receive long-term uninterrupted physical skills training from about ten years old (or even earlier). Therefore, I have been looking for ways to make students not afraid when doing physical exercise. I accidentally learned about yoga from magazines, which made me suddenly enlightened. Yoga originally meant to combine, unite, or be inseparable from sand mixed with sugar. Yoga originated in ancient India more than 5000 years ago. It is a skill of self-cultivation and physical fitness, and now it has become a popular fitness culture all over the world. It is also the sages of India, who realized the cognition from intuition to life through the coordination of posture and breathing in the deepest state of meditation and meditation. Due to the convenience and frequency of communication, the dialogue and absorption of different civilizations, and the enjoyment of civilized achievements, under the impetus of this trend, yoga has increasingly become synonymous with fashionable fitness culture, widely spread all over the world, and has become a new lifestyle that caters to and regulates people's pursuit of entertainment, fitness and health in today's fast-paced society. On the surface, there are similarities between yoga practice and basic dance training, and both need to solve the flexibility of the body through leg press and lower back. But why can yoga practitioners get physical and mental relaxation and pleasure, while dance practitioners regard leg press and lower back as painful things? The reason is that the frequency of yoga practice is slow, without any compulsion or compulsion, but amazing progress can be made step by step every day. After the exercise, the body will not feel sore, but will be extremely relaxed and comfortable. In this process, there will be no tears, no shouting and no pain. So, I tried to absorb the method of yoga into the auxiliary training of dance teaching. 1. Breathing is an important part of yoga and the key to the effect of yoga practice. Yoga believes that breathing is the physical and spiritual link between people, and correct yoga practice must start with breathing rather than posture. When breathing is adjusted evenly, the heart can reach a state of calm and concentration. Simply put, if the body cooperates with reasonable breathing during each movement, it will not produce unbearable pain; Even some extreme movements, as long as they are accompanied by correct breathing, the body will be extremely relaxed and relieved. Yoga breathing is not what we usually call natural breathing. Yoga breathing needs careful adjustment, which requires slowing down the frequency of natural breathing and changing chest breathing into abdominal breathing. When people are excited, their breathing will become very short and urgent. If the body can't meet their expectations, their psychology will be disgusted and estranged from the body. Therefore, every time I train the basic skills of dance teaching, I always ask students to adjust their breath before practicing, so that their inner restlessness stops before starting to exercise. Even if they are stiff, don't make any noise. Just tell yourself to stick to it slowly, and change the stiffness of limbs, ligaments and muscles with a calm mood and even breathing. With soothing music, let them take care of every breath carefully during the movement, and you will find that your body is melted by breathing little by little, and the feeling of pain will gradually weaken. This method is much better than the forced pressing, moving, pulling and stretching of body ligaments that we have always adopted. It can not only relieve students' psychological and physical pain, but also improve the flexibility of the body quickly, so that we can gain self-confidence and sense of accomplishment in daily practice and persistence. Second, let consciousness pay attention to body yoga, which emphasizes the unity of consciousness, breathing and movement. Practitioners should not only cooperate with the body and breathing, but also realize the attention of consciousness on this basis, and finally reach the realm of unity of body and mind. In the routine training of dance, there are often pains caused by forced movement, pressing, pulling and stretching the ligaments of limbs. Dancers will instinctively reject and fight against pain, and feel nervous and afraid psychologically. Coercive methods have a very negative impact on the body, often causing muscle and ligament strains, and even leaving serious injuries for life. Consciousness in yoga practice can be simply explained as attention, which requires that all distractions be put aside during the practice and attention be completely focused on the feeling that the action brings to the body. Don't be afraid, don't resist, believe that all the forces are under your control, learn to take care of yourself and your body with a trusting eye, treat your body with love and care, and learn to convince your body to accept all kinds of feelings, including pain, during training. If you care with your heart, the pain will become easy to accept because of your quiet and relaxed mood, which will make the whole practice process happy and peaceful, and allow practitioners to accept rather than reject the physical experience. Using this method will help practitioners to strengthen their understanding of the body movement process, have a conscious and clear understanding of their daily body changes, gain self-confidence and lasting motivation, and make steady progress in daily training. This kind of progress will not only overcome the disadvantages brought by compulsory practice, but also be of great benefit to the physical and mental health and even personality growth of each practitioner. Third, persistence in the limit In the usual practice, when we encounter physical pain, we often instinctively dodge and fear, thinking that we can't stand it, and even give up and end it hastily. Yoga practice emphasizes the positive suggestion of psychology. It thinks that everyone's body is different. Pay attention to your health, do your best. This method is also a way to adjust the mentality. Sometimes when we practice martial arts, we will have a competitive mentality, which is helpful to the progress and improvement of training, but it is also easy to cause anxiety, which leads to excessive demands on our bodies and worries about actions that we may never be able to complete. Using yoga to change the unhealthy mentality of trainers and establish that we should try our best to maximize every movement and persevere in daily practice, then our progress will be unimaginable. A person's potential is often underestimated by ourselves, and the possibility of the body needs to be explored and realized by ourselves. Do your best every day, and you will achieve your best over time! I found that these methods are really helpful to the basic training of dance, and students are no longer afraid and painful to solve the flexibility of the body. Because all the students I teach are over the best age to practice basic dance skills, yoga is more suitable for older and relatively mature people, especially after they have a certain insight and perception of the surrounding things, know what they need and where their goals are, so as to set a relatively suitable strength and standard for themselves. Training in this state helps the body to release its potential in infinite space, and the power generated is enormous for everyone. From now on, we don't worry about getting stiffer when we get older. By practicing this method, the flexibility of our body will only get better and better, and will not deteriorate. There is a saying in yoga: from the moment you practice, your physical age will stay at this moment and will not get old. As long as you persist, there will always be unexpected results.
