Qingcheng School originated in China, the birthplace of Taoism, a famous historical and cultural city in China, a national 5A scenic spot and a world cultural heritage, Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, China.

Taoism in Qingcheng Mountain originated in Zhang Tianshi, and experienced the Shangqing School headed by Tao Hongjing in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
