What is Zhu Xiang made of?
Zhu Xiang is a pill made by mixing Chinese herbal medicines. During the Yongzheng period, imperial doctors in the palace specially selected Chinese herbal medicines to prepare Zhu Xiang for Yong Zhengdi in order to cater to Yong Zhengdi's preference for health preservation.

After wearing this bead, Yong Zhengdi feels "fragrant and refreshing", which makes people "refreshed and blood vessels unobstructed". After he was overjoyed, he decided to make it a royal ornament and named it the longevity bird in the Book of Songs.

Since then, the Qing emperors have worn this product with them in various forms and presented it to people as a treasure. This string of xiang zhu given to Baoyu by King Bei Jing was "a gift from the holy family".

Zhu Xiang's allusions.

In A Dream of Red Mansions, the name of Zhu Xiang, an owl given to Jia Baoyu by the King of Beijing, also contains the meaning of brotherhood, which shows his desire to make friends with Jin Lan and further shows his appreciation and value for Jia Baoyu. Therefore, King Bei Jing not only gave Baoyu a precious meeting gift, but also warmly invited Baoyu to walk around the palace and communicate.

The book A Dream of Red Mansions explains that among the many heroes who have made contributions to the country, "among the four kings, only the king of Beijing made the highest contribution that day, and today's descendants are still attacking the Lord." Today's King Jing of Beijing is still young, but he inherited the throne, held heavy power and worked hard for his country day and night.

The emperor trusted and relied on him, and personally sent him a string of "Muxiang rosary", with obvious intention. This is the hope expressed by the Emperor. He and King Jing will maintain a good relationship with Jin Lan, and we will have a deep brotherhood in the future. I don't know if King Bei Jing understands the emperor's gift-giving intention, but his intention to give this rosary to Jia Baoyu is the same as that of the emperor.
