What does carefree mean?
Hope to be healthy and worry-free is a part of a couplet, written by Li Hongzhang, a famous minister in the late Qing Dynasty, and posted in the ancestral hall of Li Hongzhang in Nanjing. The upper and lower links are:

Retirement is not an official, as long as there is money in the pocket, rice in the warehouse and poetry in the belly, it is the prime minister in the mountains;

Pray for a long life without taking medicine. I hope you are not sick, carefree and have no creditors. You can be a fairy on the ground.

It means: as long as there is enough money, enough food, good health, no worries and light debts, it is the same day for the immortal and the prime minister.
