It is unique among the Han architecture in China, and the classical garden architecture has made great achievements.

There are many extended concepts in gardens: garden community, garden street, garden city (eco-city), national garden county and so on.

Horticulture refers to the garden cultivation, cultivation, breeding techniques and production management methods of fruit trees, vegetables and ornamental plants. According to this, it can be divided into fruit gardening, vegetable gardening and ornamental gardening. Gardening is an integral part of agricultural cultivation. Horticultural production is of great significance for enriching human nutrition, beautifying and transforming human living environment.

The major of landscape architecture mainly trains senior compound scientific and technological talents who are engaged in the breeding, maintenance management and application of garden plants, the planning and design of various urban and rural garden green spaces, and the organization and management of garden construction.
