The purpose of the three stories is to affirm that the way to preserve one's health lies in "removing the wisdom from the heart" and "simplifying once in a while". We should not have an organic heart, but should tolerate our own intentions and be in harmony with things, so as to achieve "words without deeds." The fourth part includes three stories, Liezi's Qi, Yang Zhu's Pei, and Yang Zhu's Song Dynasty, as well as a reasoning article, which aims to explain that modesty is an important part of the way of keeping in good health, and points out that relying on grandiose appearance and self-righteousness can not convince the public, but leads to "small words" and "poisonous words", emphasizing "lack of morality" and ".
