Talent Cultivation of Ecological Environment Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences
According to the research center official website in September of 20 15, the center has doctoral programs in environmental science, environmental engineering, ecology, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, environmental economics and environmental management, master programs in environmental science, environmental engineering, ecology, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, environmental economics and environmental management, and master programs in environmental engineering and bioengineering. There are three postdoctoral mobile stations in environmental science and engineering, biology and ecology, which are the key training bases for doctoral students of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In the early days of the establishment of the Institute of Environmental Chemistry, under the care and leadership of the State Council Environmental Protection Leading Group Office, the Institute worked while preparing for the establishment. The main scientific research tasks include detecting and discovering organic and inorganic toxic and harmful chemical pollutants in the environment, developing analytical and testing instruments, and studying the actual harm caused by pollutants. 1978 after the national science conference, the research work of air pollution chemistry, heavy metals in water and organic pollution chemistry was gradually carried out. By 1985, the Institute of Environmental Chemistry has formed three research directions: environmental pollution chemistry, environmental pollution prevention technology and environmental analytical chemistry.

1986, the Institute of Environmental Chemistry merged with the Ecological Research Center of China Academy of Sciences, which was under preparation at that time, and established the first professional research base of environmental science and ecology in China-the Ecological Environment Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has formed three new research directions: environmental chemistry, environmental engineering and system ecology. The research direction of the center is to solve the key ecological and environmental problems raised in economic construction and social development. The main subjects are: system ecology and ecological engineering, environmental chemistry, ecological chemistry, pollution control technology and engineering, environmental analytical chemistry, ecological environment information and analysis and testing technology. The discipline development of Eco-environmental Research Center has gone through three stages:

Create development stage (1975- 1986)

In the early days of its establishment (1975- 1978), a group of scientific and technical personnel specialized in chemical and non-chemical engineering were transferred from brother units to carry out research on environmental analysis, environmental information and treatment technologies of important pollution sources. The main subjects are: environmental analytical chemistry, development of analytical monitoring instruments, treatment technology of major pollution sources, and environmental information research.

From 1979 to 1985, the discipline of environmental pollution chemistry has expanded from a single environmental analytical chemistry, enriching the research direction of environmental analytical chemistry, including trace analysis, spectral analysis, chemical analysis, chromatographic analysis, electrochemical analysis, and the study of unified analytical methods and standard reference materials.

Adjustment and improvement stage (1986- 1998)

1986 the institute of environmental chemistry of China academy of sciences merged with the ecological research center of China academy of sciences to form the ecological environment research center of Chinese academy of sciences. At this stage, environmental chemistry, environmental engineering and system ecology have been formed. The main research directions are: environmental pollution chemistry, environmental analytical chemistry, environmental toxicology, regional environmental problems, system ecology and ecological engineering, macro-environmental policy, national conditions research, water pollution control technology, air pollution control technology, membrane technology and membrane materials, standard analytical methods and standard reference materials, and development of analytical instruments.

1986 established the open laboratory of system ecology of China academy of sciences, 1989 jointly established the state key joint laboratory of environmental simulation and pollution control with Tsinghua University and other four units. The establishment of two key laboratories laid a foundation for the optimization of the discipline structure and the adjustment of the research direction of the ecological environment research center.

Innovation leapfrog stage (after 1999)

From 65438 to 0999, Eco-environment Research Center was approved by China Academy of Sciences as the first research institute to enter the pilot sequence of knowledge innovation project. The overall discipline framework is: dominant discipline-environmental chemistry, strengthening discipline-environmental engineering, interdisciplinary discipline-system ecology and ecological engineering, developing ecotoxicology, soil environment and other disciplines. 20 15 The official website of the Research Center shows that there are 442 doctoral students, 262 master students and 48 postdoctoral researchers in the Center.

1978 since the resumption of postgraduate enrollment, a total of 2808 graduate students have been enrolled, including 1 105 graduate students and 1703 doctoral students. 640 people have obtained master's degrees and 1 168 people have obtained doctoral degrees. There are 442 doctoral students, 262 master students and 48 postdoctoral students/kloc-0. International students have been enrolled since 2004. At present, there are 9 international students from the United States and Nepal, as well as many foreign advanced students and foreign postdoctoral students.

Since 1990, 4 graduates have won the "Top 100" national excellent doctoral dissertations, 6 graduates have won the special prize of China Academy of Sciences Dean Scholarship, 13 graduates have been selected for the excellent doctoral dissertations of China Academy of Sciences, and a total of 282 graduates have won various awards and commendations such as China Academy of Sciences Dean Scholarship and Title Award.
