Expert of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Five Appropriate Measures and Five Precautions for Heavy Snow and Solar Term Health Care
Solar terms are the summary of the laws of climate change in the four seasons by the ancients for better farming. As 2 1 solar term in the 24 solar terms, heavy snow means colder weather. Weather changes are closely related to people's daily life. After the heavy snow, the weather is cold, the precipitation increases, the yang between heaven and earth is further hidden, and the yin is increasingly vigorous. We should adapt to the weather and take five preventive measures.

First, we must be warm and cold. It is cold in winter and easy to be attacked by cold evil. It is necessary to take cold-proof measures to avoid damage to human yang and cold. It is important to keep the head and abdomen warm, and "the head is the meeting of all yang" to protect the head, which can better protect Yang Qi from cold evil; The warmth of the abdomen can prevent cold pathogen from invading the spleen and stomach and damaging the healthy qi.

Second, adjust your daily life appropriately. "If you go to bed early and get up late, you must stay in the sun." In daily life, with the change of yang, people's work and rest will also change, so as to avoid being attacked by yin as much as possible.

Sanyi tiaoshen If the mind is unobstructed and the qi is harmonious, the disease can not be born. It is rainy and foggy for a long time in winter, and it is inevitable to be depressed. We can adjust our mood through proper daily exercise, such as jogging, Tai Ji Chuan, Taijijian, Baduanjin and so on. It is advisable to sweat a little, and you must avoid sweating a lot to avoid diarrhea, body instability and colds. When the sun is warm in winter, you can climb up and overlook it to broaden your mood.

Fourth, do a good job in foot health care. As the saying goes, "cold comes from the soles of your feet." Cold easily invades the human body from the soles of the feet. So, first, keep your feet warm every day. Second, it is recommended to soak your feet every day to keep out the cold. It is recommended to use wormwood leaves, Evodia rutaecarpa and ginger before going to bed. It should be made into a medicated bag, boiled, cooled to about 4 1-43 degrees Celsius, foot bath, massage Yongquan point on the sole of the foot, warm yang and dispel cold evil.

Five appropriate supplements. Winter is cold and dry, so it is advisable to warm and tonify kidney and yang to keep out the cold, nourish yin and moisten dryness. At this time, tonic is also conducive to the rise of yang in the coming year. You can eat Chinese cabbage and sesame seeds to moisten dryness, eat lotus root, jujube and longan to tonify the middle energizer, and eat mutton, beef and onion to warm the sun. You can also eat some medicated diets that nourish the kidney and liver, such as Dangshen Gouqi porridge, sesame walnut porridge, angelica mutton soup, mushroom medlar beef pot and so on. However, we should pay attention to moderation.

In addition to the five precautions, heavy snow and solar terms health care should also achieve five precautions.

The first is to prevent stroke. The cold weather in winter, from the point of view of Chinese medicine, leads to qi stagnation, makes blood vessels impassable, and leads to brain collaterals impassability, which is a stroke. Similarly, western medicine also believes that cold can lead to changes such as vasoconstriction and induce stroke. Therefore, it is very important to prevent stroke in winter. At this time, we should pay attention to the control of diseases such as hypertension and coronary heart disease, and also pay attention to whether there are signs of stroke such as dizziness and numbness of limbs.

Second, prevent heart disease. Cold is the main cause of angina pectoris and acute myocardial infarction. The temperature drops in the heavy snow season, which is the time when heart disease is easy to occur. Pay attention to cold and warmth, add clothes in time to avoid catching cold, and take drugs such as lowering blood fat and dilating blood vessels according to the doctor's advice to prevent the occurrence of heart disease.

Three defenses against lung diseases. At this time, influenza, common cold and pneumonia are prevalent, so we should take precautions to prevent diseases. In particular, the elderly with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other chronic lung diseases should avoid the occurrence of influenza and other diseases, so as not to cause old diseases. It is recommended to be vaccinated with influenza vaccine and pneumonia vaccine. It should be standardized and prevented before illness.

Four preventive measures for falling. During the heavy snow season, precipitation increases, the ground is slippery, the weather is cold, and people's actions are also hindered by cold evil, and they will fall down if they are not careful. However, the bones of the elderly are fragile, and it is easier to hurt the bones when they fall, but it is not easy to heal. In the healing period, many complications are even worse, which often make people angry and lose their lives because of a fall. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent falls in the snowy season.

The fifth is to prevent burns. Old people are not so sensitive to temperature. When they are heating or using hot water bottles, they are easily burned because of their wrong feeling of temperature, especially for diabetics. After scalding, the wound heals slowly and is more susceptible to infection, with serious consequences. Therefore, burns must be prevented.

Therefore, in the snow season, it is advisable to keep warm and protect the sun, prevent diseases and disasters, and maintain good health.
