After the cement is solidified
In fact, the longer the cement curing time, the better, because the hydration and hardening process of cement will last for a long time, but the hydration speed is faster in the first 3~7 days and slower in the later period. It can continuously replenish the water needed for cement hydration from the surface, which is helpful to the later strength development.

The specified moisture curing time is the minimum time to ensure the quality requirements of concrete. After reaching the specified curing time, if it is not too much trouble or needs more money, the concrete surface should be kept moist, at least not particularly ventilated and dry.

There are many ways to improve the strength of cement components. As far as raw materials and mixture ratio are concerned, reducing water-binder ratio, using high-grade cement and adding silica fume are the most effective methods. Once the raw materials and mixture ratio are determined, the compaction and good maintenance of concrete are the most important factors to ensure the normal development of strength.

During the curing period, the concrete surface needs to be moisturized and windproof, such as covering with wet linen, spraying curing agent (curing film) or covering with plastic film. Wind will accelerate the evaporation and drying of water on the concrete surface. After the curing period, there is no need for special ventilation, because ventilation is not good for concrete, and the hydration reaction of cement does not need air and will not release harmful gases. In other words, after the health period, either do nothing or continue to moisturize.
