The forests in Chongqing are mainly distributed in four mountain ranges, namely Tongluo Mountain, Mingyue Mountain, Taozidang and Xianjiaping, and six forest areas, namely Yunzhuan Mountain, Shengdeng Mountain, Qiaoping Mountain, Shitan Tiantai Mountain, An Lan Longgang and Shilong Changling. These areas are rich in forest resources and various plants, which provide a good ecological environment and natural landscape for Chongqing.

In addition, Chongqing has also actively promoted the construction of forest restoration bases, such as Shizhu Dafeng Fort Forest Restoration Base, Nanchuan Shan Yu Jian Forest Restoration Base, Nanchuan Liangyu International Health Valley Forest Restoration Base, Fengdu Jiuchongtian Forest Restoration Base and Liangping Baili Zhuhai Forest Restoration Base. These forest health care bases not only provide people with a good place for leisure and health care, but also protect and utilize forest resources and realize the unity of ecological, social and economic benefits.
