After appraisal by more than 70 top experts from Europe, Africa, Asia 16 countries and regions, Chongqing became the first "hot spring capital of the world".

When Nikolai Stolazanko, president of the World Hot Springs Federation, stepped onto the rostrum and announced the news to the world, passionate music sounded at the scene. Enberto soliman, Secretary-General of the World Hot Springs Federation, read out the certificate of awarding Chongqing the title of "World Hot Springs Capital", and Nikola Stolazanko presented the plaque of "World Hot Springs Capital" to the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.
