Zhai Cai Bao is a traditional folk dish in Hainan.

Zhai Cai Bao tastes versatile and healthy, which embodies the unique style of Hainan cuisine that pays attention to the original flavor. The traditional custom is that on the first day of the Lunar New Year, every household makes a vegetarian casserole to worship ancestors and gods. Because these vegetarian dishes also have health-preserving effects and unique cooking methods, they have gradually evolved into a famous Hainan dish-Zhai Cai Bao.

Traditional Hainan vegetarian dishes are accompanied by day lily, yuba, vermicelli, fungus, dried soybeans and other vegetables. Future generations will serve them according to their different preferences. The side dishes in vegetarian dishes have many different auspicious meanings, such as auricularia auricula, which means listening to the mother tongue. Teach filial piety; Fans mean that the water is always flowing, they can run a family and start a business; Yuba stands for further progress, and so on.

Method for making vegetarian pot

1, yuba, vermicelli and tremella are soaked and washed respectively, the mushrooms are cut into small pieces, the tail of Flammulina velutipes is removed, and the yellow tofu is cut into strips.
