If you have a cold, a fever or a cold, many people will be worried and say "drink more hot water". There are also tea, soup, bath, foot bath and hot sauna, and we should also pay attention to "heating while heating". This simple sentence is actually a classic of our healthy culture in China.

Most hotels in foreign countries do not have boiled water to drink or provide related equipment. When dining abroad, the waiter will bring a cup of cold water instead of a cup of hot tea.

What impresses many people who study or live abroad is that foreigners take cold water directly from the tap (the water supply system in foreign countries is different from that in China, and the water in the domestic tap can be divided into domestic water and drinking water). Therefore, one of the necessities for international students in China is the electric kettle.

The warming and tonifying effect of water can dilate human blood vessels, accelerate blood flow, thus promoting blood circulation throughout the body and achieving the effect of warming yang and benefiting the body. Research shows that healthy people soak their feet in water at 40 ~ 45℃ for half an hour, and the blood flow increases by 10 ~ 18 times.

Temperature rise can stimulate the secretion of hormones such as thyroid gland and adrenaline, thus improving the body's metabolic capacity and making the garbage and toxins in the body better excreted. Li Fangling, director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Beijing Geriatric Hospital, said that especially with the increase of skin temperature, sweating slightly is more conducive to the release of toxins.

When a certain amount of "sediment" is accumulated in the body, people will feel tired. Taking a hot bath and drinking boiled water can speed up the blood circulation, reduce the fatigue substances in the blood, improve the blood supply to the brain, inhibit the excitement of the central nervous system of the cerebral cortex, and make the brain at rest.

Foreigners don't drink hot water because their cultural traditions are very different from ours, so they don't have this habit.
