Hypertension is a persistent hypertension disease, which can cause stroke, heart disease, hemangioma, renal failure and other diseases. Hypertension is a systemic disease characterized by elevated arterial pressure, which may be accompanied by functional or organic changes in heart, blood vessels, brain, kidney and other organs. It can be divided into primary hypertension and secondary hypertension. The following is the TCM health care knowledge about hypertension that I brought to you. Welcome to reading.

What is hypertension? Hypertension is a lifestyle disease, which belongs to one of physical and mental diseases. Traditional Chinese medicine has its advantages and links in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of hypertension. For normal hypertension, diet therapy, guidance and health exercises can reduce the average blood pressure, and with oral Chinese medicine, the blood pressure of some patients can return to normal. For patients with intractable hypertension and more symptoms, Chinese medicine can relieve symptoms, assist in lowering blood pressure, and reduce and slow down the damage of target organs.

Common hypertension types (1) yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity syndrome

Main symptoms: swelling and pain in the head, restlessness, soreness and weakness in the waist and knees.

Secondary symptoms: red face and red eyes, rib pain and bitter taste, yellow constipation, fever of five senses, dry mouth and thirst, insomnia and wet dream.

Tongue pulse: red tongue with little coating, thin or stringy pulse.

(II) Deficiency of both qi and blood syndrome

Main symptoms: dizziness, shortness of breath and fatigue.

Secondary symptoms: shortness of breath, headache, spontaneous sweating or night sweats, palpitation and insomnia.

Tongue pulse: pale tongue, thin and weak pulse.

(III) Phlegm and blood stasis syndrome

Main symptoms: heavy head or pain.

Secondary symptoms: heavy head, chest pain, palpitation, anorexia, nausea, heavy weight, lethargy, numbness of hands and feet.

Tongue pulse: greasy tongue coating and slippery pulse.

(D) Deficiency of kidney essence

Main symptoms: fidgeting, tinnitus, backache.

Secondary symptoms: palpitation, forgetfulness, insomnia, wet dream, dry mouth and thirst.

Tongue pulse: the tongue is pale and dark, and the pulse is thin and weak.

(V) Kidney-yang deficiency syndrome

Main symptoms: cold back, bad wind, weak waist and knees.

Secondary symptoms: headache aggravated by cold, chills in hands and feet, frequent urination at night.

Tongue pulse: the tongue is light and the pulse is heavy and thin.

(6) Impairment of appointment and dismissal.

Main symptoms: women have headache and dizziness before and after menstrual cramps or menopause.

Secondary symptoms: upset, insomnia, rib pain.

Tongue pulse: the tongue is light and dark, and the pulse string is thin.

All the above symptoms can be diagnosed with one main symptom or two secondary symptoms, and corresponding treatment measures can be taken.

Dietary Health Care for Hypertension (1) Syndrome of Yin Deficiency and Yang Hyperactivity

1, tea:

Chrysanthemum tea: white chrysanthemum, green tea and boiled water.

Kuding tea: Kuding tea, chrysanthemum, mulberry leaves and Uncaria rhynchophylla, each in proper amount, are brewed with boiling water for drinking.

Chrysanthemum, hawthorn and cassia seed drink: chrysanthemum, raw hawthorn slices and cassia seed. Drinking boiled water.

2. Recommended food:

Celery, mung bean, mung bean sprout, lettuce, tomato, chrysanthemum, jellyfish, hawthorn, shepherd's purse, watermelon, water bamboo, eggplant, persimmon, carrot, banana, cucumber, bitter gourd, laver and asparagus.

3. Recommended diet therapy:

Pueraria porridge: Pueraria lobata, stem rice and peanuts are boiled with moderate water, and then boiled with slow fire 1 hour, and eaten in batches.

Chrysanthemum porridge: remove the pedicel of chrysanthemum, steam it in a cage, take it out and dry it in the sun or in the shade, and then grind it into fine powder for later use. Wash the stem rice, put it in a pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil it with strong fire, then cook it with slow fire until it is half cooked, add chrysanthemum fine powder, and continue to cook it with slow fire until the rice is rotten into porridge. Dinner twice a day.

(2) Deficiency of both qi and blood

1, tea

Longan jujube tea: longan meat, jujube, appropriate amount of sugar, boiled water.

Dangshen red date tea: Dangshen, red date and tea are all right, and they are brewed with boiling water for drinking. You can also boil Radix Codonopsis, Fructus Jujubae and tea in water for 3 minutes before drinking.

2. Recommended diet:

Jujube, Tremella, Sesame, Mulberry.

3. Recommended diet therapy:

Stewed trotters with Angelica sinensis: Wash trotters, cut them into large pieces, cook them in boiling water for two minutes, remove the fishy smell and take them out. Then add water to the pot, cook the trotters, add appropriate amount of angelica and seasoning, boil with strong fire, and then cook with slow fire until the trotters are cooked.

Guiqi steamed chicken: roasted astragalus, angelica, 1 tender hen. Put Radix Astragali and Radix Angelicae Sinensis into gauze bag, and tie your mouth tightly. Cook the chicken in a boiling water pot, take it out and rinse it with cold water. Put the medicine bag into the chicken belly, put it into a steamer, add onion, ginger, salt, yellow wine, dried tangerine peel, pepper and appropriate amount of water, steam in a cage for about 1 hour, discard the medicine bag when eating, season and eat with meals.

(III) Phlegm and blood stasis syndrome

1, tea:

Tea for reducing blood fat and prolonging life: lotus leaf, hawthorn, salvia miltiorrhiza, chrysanthemum and green tea in proper amount, brewed with boiling water for drinking.

Chen Shan oolong tea: tangerine peel, hawthorn, oolong tea, the right amount, boiled water.

2. Recommended food:

White radish, laver, sweet potato, corn, peanut, onion, fungus, hawthorn, kelp, jellyfish, garlic, wax gourd.

3. Recommended diet therapy:

Malantou mixed with kelp: Wash Malantou, blanch with boiling water until the color turns blue, remove and drain, and shred for later use. Soak kelp in warm water for 12 hours, wash it, scald it in boiling water for 10 minute, take it out and shred it, mix it with horsehead orchid, add salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar and sesame oil, and mix well.

Mung bean seaweed porridge: mung bean, kelp, and rice in moderation. Chop kelp and cook it with two other ingredients to make porridge, which can be eaten for dinner.

(D) Deficiency of kidney essence

1, tea

Chrysanthemum tea: Lycium barbarum, white (Hangzhou) chrysanthemum and green tea in appropriate amounts, taken with boiling water.

Black Sesame Tea: Black Sesame and green tea in moderation, brewed with boiling water for drinking.

2. Recommended food:

Tremella, Lycium barbarum, black dates, walnuts, sea cucumbers, mussels and sesame seeds.

3. Recommended diet therapy:

Mulberry porridge: proper amount of mulberry and stem rice is cooked into porridge and eaten twice in the morning and evening.

Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. Bean and jujube porridge: Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. Decoct in water to obtain thick juice, remove residues, adding 3-5 grains of japonica rice, black beans, black sesame seeds and jujube, adding appropriate amount of crystal sugar, and cooking together to form porridge for taking at any time.

(V) Kidney-yang deficiency syndrome

1, tea:

Eucommia ulmoides Tea: Eucommia ulmoides Oliv. And the right amount of green tea. Brew with boiling water, cover for 5 minutes and drink.

Walnut honey tea: walnut kernel, tea and honey are in proper amounts. Mash walnuts, put them in a cup filled with tea and honey, and brew them with boiling water instead of drinking tea.

2. Recommended food:

Leek, sesame, walnut, longan, mutton, dog meat.

3. Recommended diet therapy:

Fuyuan soup: yam, walnut kernel, lean mutton, sheep spine, stem rice and scallion. Add mutton for half an hour, boil it, skim off the foam, and then add ginger, pepper, cooking wine, pepper, star anise and salt.

Eucommia ulmoides and sheep kidney soup: Eucommia ulmoides, Schisandra chinensis, sheep kidney, ginger, onion, salt and cooking wine. Eucommia ulmoides Oliv And then adding sheep kidney tablets (removing fascia), adding ginger and other seasonings, boiling for another 30 minutes, and removing the medicine bag for seasoning.

(6) Impairment of appointment and dismissal.

1, tea:

Guiqi Meihua Tea: Angelica sinensis, Lycium barbarum and Bai Meihua, with appropriate amount, are brewed with boiling water instead of tea.
