Taihu Yuantouzhu Scenic Area 1
Taihu Yuantouzhu Scenic Area is located in Dafu Town, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. Yuantouzhu is an island on Taihu Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes in China. It is the first batch of AAAAA scenic spots in China, the national key scenic spots, the national civilized scenic spots and the famous cherry blossom viewing base in China. The main scenic spots are Chongshan Yin Xiu, Taihu Xiandao, Shilifang Jinghengyun Mountain Villa and the depths of lotus.
2. Meiyuan
Meiyuan, located on the southern slope of Hushan Mountain in the western suburbs of Wuxi, was originally a private garden built by Rong and Rong Desheng, the "first household" of China's national industry, in 19 12. Every year from February to March, thousands of plum blossoms bloom together in the scenic spot. It's a little later than the flowering period of plum blossoms. When tulips are in full bloom from late March to April, a tulip flower show will be held in the scenic spot.
In addition, plants in the desert can be seen in the ornamental greenhouse located in the Garden Expo Park. Don't visit in spring, enjoy lotus flowers in summer, smell osmanthus fragrance in autumn, and celebrate Lantern Festival in Mid-Autumn Festival.
3. Wuxi Zoo
Wuxi Zoo is located at the southern foot of Xishan Mountain in Wuxi City, in Wuxi Xi Hui Park, and was founded in 1956. There is a large proportion of bird exhibitions in the park, including songbirds, pheasants and wading birds, interspersed with birdhouses and raptor cages.
In the pheasant exhibition area centered on Peacock House, cages are in various geometric shapes, which are scattered with the change of terrain. There are flowers, trees and humorous sketches in the cage, showing a beautiful natural ecological environment. There are blue peacocks and green peacocks here. There are many kinds of parrots, some of which are valuable.
4. Flower Planet
Flower Planet includes English Rock Garden, Rose Garden and Water Lily Garden. There are many flowers such as hydrangea, rose, wisteria, peach blossom, apricot blossom, lotus flower, rose, dahlia, other shore flower, beauty tea, tea plum and so on. More than 1000 kinds of plants bloom all year round.
Here, flower viewing and recreation are combined with interactive experience projects such as parent-child leisure, special food, nature education, outdoor development, gardening and health preservation, photography and wedding photography to show the quietness and interest of garden life.
5. Wuxi Film Culture Tourist Area
Wuxi Du Ying Cultural Tourism Zone, located at No.2009 Lihu Avenue, Xuelang Street, Binhu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction.
