Methods Eel and pig liver were washed and sliced separately, Polygonum multiflorum Thunb was decocted and Lycium barbarum was mashed.
Add appropriate amount of water to eel and Polygonum multiflorum juice, simmer with slow fire, and add cooking wine, lard, salt and monosodium glutamate.
Add Lycium barbarum, chopped green onion, soy sauce, wet starch and clear water to thicken the pork liver into juice, pour eel soup and mix well until the pork liver is tender, and add monosodium glutamate.
