What are the curing methods of pavement base after rolling?
Maintenance mode of pavement base after rolling:

1. When paving the cement stabilized graded macadam (or gravel) base in two layers with a paver, the lower layer shall be paved in sections and compacted, and the upper layer shall be paved immediately, and a heavy vibratory roller shall not be used, otherwise a small amount of cement or cement slurry shall be sprinkled on the top surface of the lower layer.

2. After each section of rolling is completed and passes the compactness inspection, the curing shall be started immediately.

3. Wet sand should be used for curing, and the thickness of sand layer should be 7~ 10cm. Sprinkle water immediately after the sand is spread evenly, and keep the sand moist during the whole curing period. Do not cover with wet cohesive soil. After curing, the covering must be removed.

4. For the base course, asphalt emulsion can be used for curing. The dosage of asphalt emulsion should be 0.8~ 1.0kg/m2 (referring to the dosage of asphalt), and sprayed twice. Spray slow-cracking asphalt emulsion with asphalt content of about 35% for the first time, so that it can slightly penetrate into the surface layer of the base. Spray asphalt emulsion with higher concentration for the second time. If it is impossible to avoid the passage of construction vehicles on the maintenance layer, 3~8mm small broken (gravel) stones should be laid after emulsion splitting to make the lower seal.

5, do not have the above conditions, you can also use sprinklers for health. The number of sprinklers per day should depend on the climate. During the whole curing period, the surface of stabilized soil layer should always be moist, and pay attention to the surface condition. If necessary, it shall be compacted with a double roller.
