The town is surrounded by mountains. Only a few sparse trees on the mountain add a sense of oppression. There are few people walking on the only street, and occasionally you can see several deserted shops. What's more, there is still water shortage here. Water is a big problem for us, especially in the second half of the year. If it doesn't rain, we'll have to look for water everywhere. When texting, the higher the mobile phone is held, the stronger the signal is. Although there is electricity, power failure is common. It was in this place that I began the most unforgettable and meaningful educational life in my life.
On the day we arrived at the Education Bureau, the Education Bureau received us routinely. To tell the truth, according to the local education bureau, either you made a mistake at school and were exiled, or you have no advantage in finding a job in the city, and you must have no background to choose teaching. Therefore, when allocating schools, officials of the Education Bureau will generally try their best to allocate staff who have nothing to do with the local education bureau to the most remote places, while children in their own education system or children related to the education system will be allocated to relatively good places. Since it's teaching, that's it.
Teaching in Hubei Province, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, which claimed to be the parents of the students during the training of Hubei University of Economics, promised the lecturers "monthly salary 1200 and annual performance of 5,000 yuan."
In fact, only 760 yuan is available every month, and the year-end performance is not seen. In this 760 yuan, you have to eat and buy clothes by yourself, often subsidize students, and often take care of students' meals, because students say that if there is no money, there will be no money, and if there is no money, you will not come to class.
Besides school, go to a local school. After meeting the headmaster, the headmaster said to me privately, "Brother, it is best not to engage in education!" " "Then I was assigned to a so-called dormitory, with a pigsty below and a thatched shed above (which was promised by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education). The headmaster said that you live temporarily and will be assigned to you when you have a house. Suddenly, back before liberation, I finally understood why our great party can succeed in the revolution-it is better to fight to the death than to live in such a world. In September, there is still residual heat, flies are flying everywhere and bugs are crawling everywhere. So I lived for half a year. In winter, I really feel the cry of the north wind. In order to sleep, you can only cover your head (luggage and daily necessities are purchased by yourself for more than ten miles, and then carried by yourself).
Let's talk about school. From primary school to junior high school, there are more than 80 students, plus the principal, a veteran in his forties, who graduated from high school. The other two teachers barely graduated from junior high school. Indeed, not to mention the lack of teachers, high-level teachers. In school, except for the headmaster, the other two teachers are dissatisfied with the landlord because the landlord robbed them of their jobs. Basically, every teacher has to attend all classes. Two teachers who graduated from junior high school also teach English, but they don't understand many words themselves, so they are mixed with pinyin and Chinese, and even Chinese is mixed with strong local dialects. Where there are people, there are rivers and lakes. Don't talk about it. Understand their feelings.
Tell me about the students. In fact, students in remote mountainous areas don't want to study so much. Don't look at them in front of the camera with naive eyes on TV. China media, you know. The wish of the villagers is to mix in school until graduation, and then go out to work. Of course, there are also deep-seated reasons, such as the occlusion of traffic and information, the gap between the rich and the poor in different regions, the circle of villagers' living scope, personal vision and so on. I have never seen children sitting in the mountains listening to lectures on TV once.
In this way, after half a year, all my "family" who had never taken a shower and had never seen me came except where I took a shower. The county education staff did come once to the local town for a so-called investigation, and asked the town government staff to convey the greetings from the county education bureau to the teaching teachers.
The villagers, on the other hand, respect the landlord, a teaching teacher who graduated from university. Because the landlord knows medicine and acupuncture (the landlord's father is a military doctor), local villagers and students are generally reluctant to go to the town health center with a cold and fever. So the landlord pricked a needle or prescribed a prescription. Therefore, every time the landlord goes to the town or county, he should try to buy some medicine. Telling the truth, the landlord devotes himself to teaching the children, and the landlord also beats the students, because persuasion education is not suitable for some students, just like some trees, which will grow crooked without pruning. But after persuasion, education, beating and cursing, and ideological work, the vast majority of students can obviously improve. In life, they know that they love hygiene and cleanliness, and their thoughts are no longer so selfish. In life, they know how to be filial to their elders and courteous to others, so there are no typos in their studies and their horizons are broadened. Therefore, parents still respect the landlord. When the landlord came to visit, the simple villagers took out the best food at home-a dried fish, a piece of bacon, and then their own wine. It is said that I am reluctant to eat at ordinary times. The simple feelings of the villagers are also mixed with complex meanings. Some villagers think that college students from the provincial capital have much energy, so they can directly let you take my baby to the provincial capital to earn money. It's nothing. The terrible thing is that students have some contradictions because of their play. The villagers asked the teachers to be kind to their own children. It is a curse for a teacher not to take the baby seriously, and it is inevitable for both parents to beat the child. Even some villagers were not convinced when they hit the teacher, and then went to the other parents to fight.
After staying for half a year, I really couldn't stand the atmosphere there and was admitted to the middle school in the county. Of course, the status of teaching has not changed, the salary is still a little, and the performance is not. In the middle schools in the county, there are the most classes, and there are three classes in English. Everyone knows that English is the most tiring. Self-study in the morning, self-study in the evening, and continuous teaching in class. Later, because of my teacher, I taught history and geography at the same time, and later I worked part-time in English in the sixth grade of a local primary school. Every week 1 to 5, there are basically classes. On weekends, I teach the third grade. This kind of life is much more satisfying than in crowded provinces.
Finally, at the end of the teaching period, the landlord was full of disappointment with this life and left happily.

Because you have been teaching for several years, you are likely to forget your major, and besides being able to talk on paper in class, what skills can you have to make a living after going out? It is better to enter the society after graduation. Although hard, I have worked hard in the workplace for several years, at least I have experience, so I won't earn hundreds of dollars a month, and I won't enter the society as an idiot after teaching.
There are preferential policies for the public examination after the expiration of teaching, but you all know that.
4. It's hard to say what will happen where the teaching is remote and the people are hard.
Don't look at some faculty members who took root in the mountain village a few years later. In a few years, they forgot their major, but they were still at a loss when they went out. Some of them are looking for objects in the local area, and it does not rule out that some people really contribute to the mountainous areas. For these reasons, many students who teach with me have devoted themselves to remote villages. And some officials of the Hubei Provincial Department of Education have soared, and continue to fool the next schoolmate every year as parents of students! Teachers and staff always pass the buck when they encounter problems! Since teaching is so noble, why do most children of senior officials in China go abroad, and why do few children of senior officials teach in China? Why can't the children of senior officials in China receive re-education from poor middle peasants? I think if it is as lofty as some officials claim, the children of officials will probably not want to fall behind. Xu Benyu, a teaching star, is said to have gone to be an official, and thousands of teaching staff have become cannon fodder.
6. If you choose to teach, you should think clearly: What do you want? What can you get? Your parents worked hard to pay for your college education. How many more years in the mountains can you recover the cost? Your parents want you to go to remote mountainous areas after finishing college, which costs several hundred yuan a month, but you can't subsidize your family. Are you worthy of your parents? Don't look at the camera on TV. Many college students volunteer to teach. You can't and dare not lie in front of the camera. Of course, many college students are full of passion, but how long can this passion last? If you want to enter your career by this, I personally think it is not very reliable. I don't think I will be recognized by the country just because I have made so-called contributions to the country. The people remember you, but the party and the government don't remember you. What can I do with the broken trophy given by the state? Going out is facing high-priced consumption and secular vision. It's not that I'm greedy for money, but that this country is crazy! I am not greedy for money, but I want to live. I want to support my students. Is it reliable?
