How to eliminate leg pain after standing piles?
Standing piles is the basic skill of martial arts practitioners, and it is also one of the main methods of traditional health preservation in China.

Of course, practicing martial arts and keeping in good health have different requirements for standing on wooden stakes. The requirement of standing posture in Wushu training is low, that is to say, Gong Zhuang, who practices martial arts, requires: a standing posture is one and a half shoulders wide, knees do not exceed toes, and two thighs are parallel to the ground and upright;

The requirements of health posts are much lower, only the knees are slightly bent, that is to say, the included angle between thighs and calves should be less than 180 degrees. Of course, the knees should not cross the toes and the body should be upright.

However, whether standing on a Wushu pile or a healthy pile, you will experience the process of leg numbness, leg soreness, leg swelling and leg pain, and then there is no obvious reaction to the leg. Generally speaking, leg numbness, soreness, swelling and pain refer to the reactions that practitioners can feel in the process of standing piles. As long as the knee is not on the toes, these three reactions are normal. If it is not numbness, soreness, swelling and pain in the legs, but knee pain, then practitioners should pay attention to it. As far as human skeletal joints are concerned, the human body has several major joints: ankle joint, knee joint, hip joint, shoulder joint, elbow joint and wrist joint. These six joints of the human body, together with the spine, constitute an important turning point or turning point in human activities. Once accidents or problems occur at these turning points or points, people's activities will be greatly restricted or even unable to move. Therefore, whether it is a standing martial arts pile or a standing health pile, their requirements are: feet are parallel, the distance between feet is shoulder-width or slightly wider, the neck is empty, the chest is pulled back, the shoulders are sunken, the elbows are relaxed, the knees are not toes, the knees are slightly bent, and the legs are propped up to both sides.

The main purpose of this is to make the gravity of the human body be borne by the soles of the feet and completely transmitted to the ground. In this way, the shoulder joint, hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint will not feel heavy when standing on the pile, and it will also make practitioners realize what "slack" is and enhance their endurance, thus laying a solid foundation for practicing martial arts or keeping in good health, which is very valuable for martial arts practitioners and people who pursue health. With endurance, practitioners will stand on the pile for a long time and their legs will not feel pain. On the other hand, their legs will feel "full" and "stable".

But the leg feels full and steady, which is by no means something a yogi can do by "fishing for three days and drying the net for two days", or by "ignoring the rules", let alone "rushing for success".

Therefore, leg pain is inevitable during and after standing piles. Leg pain is not terrible during or after pile standing.

If it appears in the process of standing piles, the practitioner should check whether the knees have passed the toes. Check whether your hips are propped up, or whether your hips are pursed. Check your integrity? Check whether the shoulder is loose. Are you too nervous? This tension mainly has two aspects, one is mental tension, and the other is muscle tension.

It's much easier to deal with after your leg hurts or you stand on a pile.

First of all, do a good job of collecting Gong Zhuang after the pile is finished (what is collecting Gong Zhuang will not be described this time);

Secondly, walk slowly with your hips; There is also a slight bending of the legs, shaking the thigh muscles after opening the hands on the two thighs, and relaxing the thigh muscles;

Then, sit down and lift one leg respectively, and then pat the calf with both hands to relax;

Also, stand on one leg, lift the other leg and throw it gently and orderly, and so on, and take turns with the left and right legs until you are comfortable.

Anyone who practices standing piles must have a normal mentality and be able to relax and calm down. Only in this way can we stand the pile well and really eliminate the phenomenon of leg pain. May the real pile-standing practitioners achieve something through pile-standing!

The leg pain of standing pile is mostly due to the tightness of lower limbs. One is that the center of gravity is too heavy, or the knee hurts after a long time.

The center of gravity should be between the legs, but many people have different strength between their legs. After standing the pile for a long time, the center of gravity will tilt to one side, which will cause one leg to bear too much weight, so the leg will hurt, so you should adjust your center of gravity in time to make the two legs bear the force evenly.

You should know how to straighten the curve of the lower limbs, that is, the knee is slightly bent, and the straightness of the two tendons behind the knee is bent, so that the tendons behind the knee are slightly strengthened, that is to say, the shape is straight.

If you want to completely eliminate the pain in your legs, you need to add a little thought when you stand the pile. You want to soak yourself in chest-high warm water, feel the buoyancy of the water, imagine your elbow as the whole lever fulcrum, put your whole body on the driftwood in the water, and use this idea to reduce the load on your lower limbs. This is very useful.

In addition, every time you finish the pile, you must do actions, walk back and forth, fully exercise your lower limbs, practice your footwork better, and separate your legs.

There is a folk proverb: it is better to practice than to stand. The word "stand" in this sentence refers to a standing pile. There are many Gong Zhuang in Wushu schools, and many Qigong schools also have various methods to practice standing piles. From the point of view of practicing Qigong, any posture of walking, living, sitting and lying can be practiced according to certain norms. In fact, qigong and internal skill are both internal skills to cultivate vitality in the body, but their names are different.

A true yogi will admit the fact that one of the most prone postures to get angry in practice is sitting on a pile (sitting on a plate), and the other is standing on a pile. Many martial arts schools have their own Gong Zhuang practice methods, such as Shaolin Boxing, Xingyiquan and Tai Ji Chuan's infinite stance. Practicing standing pile exercises not only exercises the skeletal muscles of human body, but also makes the practitioners gradually full of vitality and fully moistens the internal organs of human body. Of course, standing on the pile can greatly improve the sensitivity of practitioners, who can often instinctively and skillfully deal with unexpected situations and make appropriate responses. In this regard, people who have really worked hard on the practice of standing piles will certainly feel the same way.

It should be said that for newcomers to Gong Zhuang, leg pain, arm pain and even mixed body pain or discomfort are normal. As long as you follow the requirements of Gong Zhuang's norms, you will certainly get stronger sense of qi (that is, eight touches) as time goes by, and even feel comfortable and abnormal at work. After practicing for nearly an hour, they seem to feel that only 20 minutes have passed, time passes quickly, and their bodies have no feeling of fatigue. If you feel this way after practicing standing posture, congratulations. You survived a painful victory.

Before practicing standing piles, you should fully warm up and move all joints of your body. As for what activities to do to warm up, you can decide according to your personal preference. After sufficient warm-up activities, it is definitely helpful to practice the standing pile technique to prevent discomfort such as leg pain after work. In addition, it is suggested that beginners use high-level standing piles to practice, and then increase the difficulty of practice according to the requirements of the specification after a certain period of practice. This is also a good way to prevent leg pain after work.

After practicing standing pile, pat your leg with your palm for a while to make the blood flow smoothly and relieve the discomfort of your leg. In fact, the most effective way is to use qigong to express the meridians of both lower limbs. The method is as follows:

Stand, sit or lie in any position. There is no strict requirement for posture, as long as you can relax all over. I want to step on a big fireball with my feet. Intentional fireball energy passes through the Yongquan point of the left foot along the leg to the lower abdomen, which is inhalation. Then exhale, and the discomfort and sick gas in the left leg descend along the right leg and are discharged into the ground (three feet into the ground) through the right foot spring. Take a breath at a time and do it several times. Then the right foot goes in and the left foot comes out. The method is as before and will not be described in detail. This method is also effective in treating leg pain.

The above is my personal experience of practicing kungfu for many years, which is only for the reference of Taoist friends with the same hobbies. If there is anything wrong, please advise.

It may have something to do with standing posture. It should be comfortable.
