Treating enteritis by pressing Shangqiu point.
Shangqiu point is the point on the spleen meridian of Foot Taiyin, which not only has the functions of strengthening the spleen, eliminating dampness and regulating the stomach and intestines, but also has the functions of relieving cough, relieving asthma and reducing fever. Because acupoints correspond to the lower body lymphatic reflex zone of the plantar reflex zone, and the lymphatic system is the immune system of the human body, massage or acupuncture acupoints can stimulate the anti-inflammatory mechanism of the human body and slow down various inflammatory reactions. Especially gastroenteritis and urethritis, cystitis and pelvic inflammatory disease.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the spleen governs transportation, that is, subtle Shui Gu reaches the whole body with blood circulation and nourishes various organs and tissues. When fresh blood reaches the inflammatory site, some substances such as bacteria causing infection are removed, and inflammation is naturally relieved. This is the principle of anti-inflammatory at Shangqiu point, the point of spleen meridian. Therefore, Shangqiu point can be described as an important point for human body to diminish inflammation and detoxify.

Pressing method: the patient's feet are drooping or sitting on his back, and a depression can be felt in the front and lower part of the medial malleolus of the foot, which is called Shangqiu point when pressing. When massaging, put the left foot on the right leg, hold the left ankle with the other four fingers except the thumb, press this point with the thumb pulp for 60 times, and then switch to the right side. You can also use kneeling posture or massage with other acupoints.
