1, Jiangbei Catholic Church
It was built by Bishop Su, a French citizen of Zhejiang parish. In the 25th year of Guangxu (1899), the bell tower was built. The whole bell tower (including piano room) consists of lobby, bishop's office, parish, bedroom, dressing room, library, mother hall and seal study room. The bell tower of this church is gothic. Well preserved. The building is complete and unified, and the momentum is magnificent. Especially the lofty and elegant churches, with their unique Gothic architectural style, are the best among the Catholic churches in our province.
2. Hongchang Yuanhao
Hongchangyuan, located at No.47 Ma Zhong Road, is actually an old shop, an early western-style concrete building with a single slope roof. There is a vertical plaque on the facade of the building, engraved with the old name "Hongchangyuan". The top of the plaque is triangular with a set of dotted lines on both sides, imitating the scroll pattern in western architecture. Some time-honored brands in this store are marked with "Dragon and Phoenix Golden Steamed Bun, Mandarin Duck Wedding Cake, Steamed Bread Water" and so on under the plaque.
This building is a pastry processing factory opened by Cixi people. It is a typical workshop-style modern building around 1930s and a rare old shop in Ningbo.
3. Ningbo City Exhibition Hall
Ningbo City Exhibition Hall is a living room that displays the development history, construction achievements and future vision of Ningbo, and integrates the functions of political and civil interaction, academic exchange, urban forum and patriotic education. It is a bridge between Ningbo and the outside world and an important window for Ningbo's foreign exchange. The exhibition hall has a total construction area of 25,000 square meters and a building height of 24 meters, which is divided into four floors above ground and 1 floor underground. The theme of the overall exhibition is "World Port City, Happy Home".
4. Sanjiangkou
Yongjiang River, Yaojiang River and Fenghua River meet in Ningbo, and the three rivers meet here to form the Sanjiangkou. The three administrative regions of Ningbo are divided according to the banks of the Sanjiangkou, with Yinzhou District in the east, Haishu District in the southwest and Jiangbei District in the north. Sanjiangkou is the earliest "Ningbo Port" port in Ningbo, that is, from the foot of Lingqiao to Xiabaisha in Jiangbei. By the 1970s, Ningbo had built a port passenger terminal, but the area was still very prosperous.
5. Zilinfang Art Museum
With a total construction area of 4,000 square meters, it is a modern building that combines traditional elements of China with modern architecture, which contains the charm of Jiangnan water town and the modernity that is in harmony with the surrounding environment. It has both the leisure of Ming and Qing dynasties and the elegance of modern fashion.
The whole building is a three-story veranda building. On the first floor 150 pieces of old mahogany furniture with high imitation of Ming and Qing dynasties and bone and wood inlaid furniture are displayed. On the second floor, there are 100 pieces of rosewood carvings, of which 14 pieces are sculptures of Daphne tumor, with a total value of over 100 million yuan; On the third floor is the rubbings exhibition hall, which displays more than 1000 rubbings. Walking in Zilinfang Art Museum, you will feel surrounded by art, which will be pleasing to the eye and breathtaking at the same time.
