Many people often have difficulty falling asleep or suffer from severe insomnia. This phenomenon is either due to the body itself, excessive thinking and stress, or diet. Some insomnia, such as physical diseases, need to be improved with drugs, while others don't. If you think too much because of too much pressure, you can use psychological adjustment. However, some people can't do anything and suffer from intractable insomnia. Since ancient times, human beings have been exploring effective methods to treat insomnia, but the root cause of insomnia has not been clarified, but the yang qi does not enter the yin, or an effective method to return the yang qi to the yin has not been explored. A breathing method used by Taoism can treat most types of difficulty in falling asleep and insomnia. This is "abdominal breathing". No matter when and where, as long as the environment permits, this method is effective and you can fall asleep quickly.

Specific methods and steps: ① Lie flat, relax, close your eyes and breathe evenly; (2) Concentrate on breathing, close your eyes and breathe through your nose, slowly and gently inhale, take this breath as a line, inhale from your nose along your chest and navel to your abdomen, and it takes about 4 seconds from inhaling to your abdomen, then hold your breath for 4 seconds, and then imagine exhaling this breath slowly from your back, from Dazhui point (behind your neck and tibia), down your forehead and nose. Exhale is a long process. Then come back and do this several times. As long as your mind is focused on it, you usually take a deep breath for 7 or 8 times and fall asleep unconsciously. Of course, you can't consider other issues in this process. The key is to concentrate, think about breathing and follow the route of inhalation. Don't use your chest when inhaling. Introduce gas into the abdominal cavity to expand it. The gas stays in the abdomen for a while, and then slowly draws the gas up from behind. You can also lift the anus, lower the abdominal cavity and push the qi upward.

Abdominal breathing is an important way to keep fit and prolong life. As the saying goes, "Breathe into the navel, and life will be integrated with the sky". People are born with fetal breathing (baby breathing) and use abdominal breathing. After birth, they use lung breathing (chest breathing). Lung breathing is used when the human body has a lot of exercise, and big mouth breathing can ensure oxygen supply. In order to adapt to the great movement of the human body, chest breathing is static and provides energy for the human body. However, for people who want to live a long life, in order to stay healthy, abdominal breathing is necessary, because people's life depends on the function of the kidney. Qi of the human body is born from a yang (middle yang) in the kidney. In fact, it is the Tianyang inhaled through the nostrils, passing through the heart system, leading to the heart fire and then to the kidney, and then the kidney water evaporates and the gas is released in the nose and mouth. The kidney is in the lower coke, so it is equivalent to constantly supplementing nutrition to the kidney. Dantian, also known as Guanyuan, has hundreds of acupoints in the human body. Guanyuan can be regarded as the first important acupoint in the human body. Acupuncture, massage and moxibustion can usually be used to keep fit. Abdominal breathing plays an important role in inhaling to Dantian (Guanyuan): Chinese medicine believes that the lung governs exhalation and the kidney governs inhalation. Although the human body's breathing is controlled by the lungs, the normal breathing function is closely related to the kidney, which is the source of qi. The fresh air inhaled by the lungs must reach and be absorbed by the kidneys to maintain the smoothness and depth of respiratory movement and ensure the replacement of gas. Often introducing qi into Guanyuan will always supply energy to the kidneys, and at the same time, qi will enter the abdominal cavity, which can massage the abdominal organs and make them all active. If you don't inhale enough or can't inhale, it means that your kidney function is insufficient. When a person is dying, it is true that there is only air without air. Some longevity Taoist priests are more able to inhale qi into their heels, indicating that kidney qi is sufficient. Yang takes the initiative and Yin takes the lead. The root cause of insomnia is that the human body's yang is too strong, the yang does not enter the yin, the yin does not control the yang, and the yang fire moves wildly, disturbing its yin. Abdominal breathing can calm irritability, draw yang into yin, hide yang in yin, and make human body stable and sleep well.

From the perspective of the Book of Changes, we can know that abdominal breathing is an extremely effective principle for treating insomnia. Everything in the world, including the human body, is consistent with the sixty-four hexagrams of the Book of Changes. When people are awake and asleep, the Book of Changes corresponds to Jin Gua and Ming Yi Gua respectively. "Yi" said: gold, heaven, fire is gold. The elephant said: if you leave the ground, you will enter, and if you enter the ground, you will enter. It means that the sunrise is flat and the yang is sufficient, and the qi of the human body corresponds to it. Going out to keep out the cold, it comes out of its eyes to see things, so it is called "waking up". The fire shows the alien's divination, just like saying: Go into the ground, Ming Yi. Yi, injury, the sun comes from the ground, its bright is light, to the ground, bright is hurt, so it is called. In other words, this day is dull, unknown and gloomy. The qi of human body corresponds to it, and the eyes are closed, so it is called "sleep". This divination means that people can sleep peacefully. Some people yawn when they want to sleep, and then they fall asleep. This is because there is hot air in people's chest. Although there is yin rising between the eyes, the eyes are very tired, while the heart and spleen have yang, that is, heat energy, which cannot make it into fire. Ming Yi's divination is still Zehuo's divination. The meaning of leather should be innovation, getting rid of the old and getting the new. From the human body's point of view, it is to exhale the hot air in the body from the mouth. The hexagrams on the leather are interchangeable, and the corresponding human body is the mouth, so the breath will open the mouth. When the yang-hot qi in the chest and abdomen comes out of the mouth again, the divination on the leather becomes Kun, the divination of fire, and the divination of earth, and it falls into the ground, so it can fall asleep. It can be seen that it is difficult to fall asleep because there is a yang heat in the human body. If this kind of hot air is exchanged by expelling the old and absorbing the new, or if the yang is merged into the yin and the yang is hidden, the insomnia can be improved.
