The history of Zhuyeqing liquor can be traced back to the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Fu Shan is a native of Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, whose word is green bamboo, and later changed to green master. Fu Shan, together with Gu, Huang Zongxi, Wang Fuzhi, Li Qing and Yan Yuan, was called by Liang Qichao as the "Six Masters in the Early Qing Dynasty", and his status and achievements were far beyond a few words.

According to historical records, Fu Shan often went to Fenyang to practice medicine and taste wine, studied the formula of bamboo leaf green from the perspective of health care, and became good friends with many brewers.

One day, Fu Shan saw the brewer brewing bamboo leaf green wine by soaking medicinal materials. With his profound experience in traditional Chinese medicine, he taught winemakers how to soak and mix with traditional Chinese medicine to achieve better curative effect. The brewer tried it according to his method, and sure enough, the wine brewed was not only mellow, golden and bright, but also significantly improved the health care effect.

Later, Fu Shan changed the preparation of bamboo leaf green medicine from the past four to twelve, and kept the ingredients of bamboo leaves, which made bamboo leaf green have various health care effects and become a famous wine in the world today.
