According to the survey, most of the patients are between 15-49 years old, among which urban white-collar workers, especially women, account for the majority. People of this age group are faced with social activities such as college entrance examination, business entertainment, enterprise management, interpersonal communication and job competition, and have been under fierce environmental pressure for a long time. First, the main manifestation is mental malnutrition.

Deficiency of both heart and spleen is manifested as dizziness, palpitation, insomnia, forgetfulness, mental fatigue, shortness of breath, lazy speech or dull complexion, spontaneous sweating, anorexia, loose stool, irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia and leukorrhagia, pale tongue with white fur and weak pulse. Guipi decoction should be used for treatment.

Deficiency of liver, heart, yin and blood, manifested as insomnia, palpitation, night sweats, dizziness, dry mouth and throat, and thready pulse. It is advisable to nourish blood and soothe the nerves, and clear away heat and trouble. Prescriptions include Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis, Caulis Polygoni Multiflori and Semen Platycladi.

Yin deficiency of heart and kidney is manifested as restless sleep, palpitation, mental fatigue, forgetfulness in wet dream, or hot flashes, night sweats, sores on the mouth and tongue, dry stool, red tongue with little fur and rapid pulse. The treatment should be nourishing yin and clearing heat, nourishing heart and calming nerves. The prescription is Tianwang Buxin Dan.

The type of guilty conscience and distracted spirit is characterized by trance, palpitation and insomnia, frequent weeping, or frequent yawning, spontaneous sweating and night sweats, red tongue with little coating, and rapid pulse. It is advisable to nourish the heart and soothe the nerves. When the feeling is urgent, use Ganmai Jujube Decoction to add flavor.

Second, the main manifestations are emotional disorder and liver failure.

Liver depression and qi stagnation are manifested as depression, restlessness, fullness in chest and hypochondrium, sighing, loss of appetite, bitter taste, pale or dark red tongue, and thin or astringent pulse. Treatment should be based on soothing the liver, regulating qi and relieving depression.

The syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency is characterized by depression and discomfort, pain in both ribs, mental fatigue and eating less. Women may see irregular menstruation and blood, swelling and pain, reddish tongue and thin pulse. Xiaoyao powder is used to treat liver depression, nourish blood and spleen. If liver depression and blood deficiency turn into heat, use Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder instead.

3. Burnout and fatigue, spleen deficiency and dampness are the main manifestations.

Deficiency of both qi and blood is manifested as weakness of limbs, shortness of breath, laziness in speaking, loss of appetite, palpitation, dizziness, pale or sallow complexion, pale tongue with white fur and weak pulse. Treating both qi and blood should be modified with Bazhen Decoction. If deficiency of both qi and blood leads to yang deficiency, the prescription should be modified with Ginseng Nutrition Decoction or Shiquan Dabu Decoction.

Deficiency and cold of spleen and stomach are manifested as heavy weight, lethargy, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, shortness of breath, loose stool, pale complexion, pale tongue with white fur, and slow or soft pulse. Treatment should be based on invigorating qi and spleen, harmonizing middle energizer and nourishing stomach, and the prescription should be modified by Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction or Shen Ling Baizhu Powder. In addition, if you are prone to catch a cold or have the performance of sinking middle qi, you can choose Buzhong Yiqi Decoction to add and subtract.
