Shiqian Wenquan Group Scenic Area has ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties represented by Wanshou Palace, a national key cultural relic protection unit, Foding Mountain with intact original ecological vegetation, Shiqian Wenquan Group represented by hot springs in the south of Shiqian City, Yuanyang Lake unique to Guizhou where thousands of mandarin ducks live, ethnic ancient villages represented by Yaoshang Gelao village and upstairs ancient village, and red tourism resources represented by the former site of the red "26" military headquarters.

Shiqian hot spring is rich in selenium, strontium, lithium, radon, zinc, iodine, metasilicic acid and many other trace elements beneficial to human health. It has a good auxiliary medical effect on diabetes, coronary heart disease, hypertension, arthritis, neuritis and dermatosis. It is a famous "spring town" in China.

Shiqian Hot Spring, also known as Chengnan Hot Spring, is one of the oldest hot springs in China. Its facilities were built in the thirty-fourth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (namely 1606), with a history of more than 400 years. With a unique traditional bathing culture, it is the only natural mineral spring that can be directly used for bathing and drinking in China and even in the world.
