When should I consider lumbar disc herniation?
1, from the age point of view: 20~50 years old is the high incidence population of this disease;
2, low back pain with leg pain: Most patients have low back pain and leg pain at the same time, but it is not absolute. Low back pain is characterized by a small range of pain in the middle of the waist or slightly deviating from the midline of the lower waist, which appears or aggravates when bending over and appears on one side at the same time. A few can have pain in both lower limbs at the same time, sometimes numbness. The pain of lower limbs extends from the back of thigh to the outside of calf, even to the instep.
3, the same symptoms recur, the condition can be improved or recovered after a few days of bed rest, and it will recur at intervals (weeks to years) and appear many times.
4, the serious person may have incontinence, generally will not cause paralysis.
5. introspection: keep your legs upright, keep your knees straight, bend over and try to touch the ground. If you have the second pain in your back and legs, you should go to the hospital for further examination.
6. For lumbar disc herniation, the best examination is magnetic resonance imaging, followed by CT. Ordinary x-rays can't diagnose this disease.
