Yizheng is the only county-level city on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with Yangzhou in the east and Zhenjiang and Nanjing across the river in the south. It is a node city between Nanjing, Zhenjiang and Yangzhou, with a total area of 859 square kilometers, 9 towns, 136 administrative villages and a population of 557,200.
Yizheng has a long history and profound foundation. The county was founded in the early Western Han Dynasty, and became a famous industrial and commercial city and garden city in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and was known as "the first state in Huainan". Important historical sites such as Miaoshan Han Tomb, Tianning Tower in Tang Dynasty and Bell and Drum Tower in Ming Dynasty are well preserved. Yizheng Zaolinwan Ecological Park, the largest hilly ecological park in East China, is surrounded by the largest thousand-mu bamboo sea dragon mountain in northern Jiangsu, the Qingshan horticultural experimental field in China Peony First Garden and the Xinghe Ecological Park, and it is seamlessly connected with the 2000-mu Zaolin Reservoir and Tongshan, the first peak in Central Jiangsu. Red slopes, green trees, green hills and blue waves complement each other.
2. Yizheng Museum
It belongs to the Cultural Bureau of Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province, and was officially opened to the public in June 2006. Yizheng Museum started construction in 2003 and opened to the public in 2006 1 month. The museum covers an area of 5.5 mu with a building area of 5,520 square meters. It is located on the north bank of the scenic Yangtze River Park, adjacent to the city library.
3. Yizheng Nanshan Geopark
