A headmaster once said to me, "Our teachers always complain about all kinds of problems in the teaching process." I said, "You have to ask the teacher, what do we live on?" Fortunately, there are problems in this world, so monks can exist, teams can exist, and we can also exist because of problems. As soon as the mind changes, problems become wealth, and problems become opportunities. The wisdom of Buddhism is to turn troubles into bodhi. The headmaster of an excellent private school always likes to criticize institutional education, and I am grateful for it. What if there is no problem with institutional education? We don't resist problems, we need to solve them. If there is no problem in this world, who can rush out? No one can rush out, because everyone is the same, and no one is better than anyone else. So when I think about it, the world turns. Because there are all kinds of problems in this world, problems will force us to improve, grow, progress and innovate, and force people to be alone, and you will succeed.
If there is no problem, we don't want to push for a breakthrough. What brings you here? This is a problem. I can see that problems have brought us together like bodhisattvas, and our team has one goal, which is to help everyone solve problems together. Everyone is here because of various goals, so we can work together to solve the problem.
Actually, I have no wisdom. Buddhism didn't say I have wisdom, and you didn't. Buddhism doesn't say that. In the eyes of Buddha, everyone has wisdom, but there are differences in wisdom. To put it more thoroughly, there is no difference in size in essence, but there is a difference in size. Just like lighting candles, some people light 5 candles, some people light 10, some people light 20 candles, and some people light up to 30 candles, but everyone has 100 at first. What are we doing here? What's mine and what's yours, we light each other together, we all light up 80, isn't it all the same when we go back? Why is our health camp so magical? How does our health camp treat diseases? It's very simple. Let's come together. My energy inspires you, and your energy inspires me. Is running with five people the same as running with one person? It must be different. One person must run for a long time, and five people must run for a short time. This is interaction, not anyone's credit.
What is the origin in Buddhism? Is interaction, * * * with great effect. For example, China's word "person" is the origin. Remove the word "person" from one side, and the other side will not stand up. Remove it from the other side, and the other side will not stand up. Chopsticks are also the origin. One chopstick is useless and the other chopstick is useless. They can be used together. How much is one plus one? Infinite. You can use two chopsticks for a plate of fried peas for three minutes, but can you use one chopstick for six minutes? Because it takes three minutes for two chopsticks and six minutes for one chopstick. Is it six minutes? I can't hold it for six hours. Therefore, people are going to collide with each other and collide with the sparks of wisdom.
If there is no collision, where is the spark? People collide every day when they are together, but some people collide every day. What do they collide with? Trouble. Trouble is also collision. There was no trouble at first, but it happened after the collision. We should create happiness and ideas. Our inner thoughts will produce our thoughts. If you always have a negative attitude and always complain, you will complain when you meet, and you will complain when you collide. If a teacher is full of negativity and worry during the collision, then the teacher is so negative. What is the level of children they teach? Excuse me, if we see such schools and teachers, will we know all about them? So teachers are very important.
The current educational concept needs to jump out and have a look. How do I become a monk is to jump out of the monk to see the monk and jump out of the dharma to see the dharma; Being a teacher is the same, jumping out of the teacher to see the teacher. You can't just go in. You have to go in and jump out. If you can't get in, you are a tramp. If you can't get out, you will become a prisoner. What if I can't get on the plane? What if I can't get off the plane? From this, you immediately realize that your whole life is going in and out. The same is true of teaching. You have to go in and jump out. If you can't get in, you can't do things well. If you can't jump out, you can't see the whole world. There are many business people who can't jump out of this business today. How can we see the trend of this industry? Only by seeing the trend of the industry can we do this industry better. China has a saying that is too wise, and the authorities are fascinated. We should be the authorities and be our own bystanders.
After graduating from college, I became my own bystander. How to be your own bystander? After graduating from college, I worked in a research institute in the mountains. I'm not used to it like others. Read books, make inventions, go to work at night, ride a bike and sing all the way back to the dormitory at eight or nine in the evening. It must have been Sunday at that time. I moved on Sunday and chose to play by the river on Tuesday or Wednesday. In retrospect, I've been a little different since then. What shall I play by the river? I can take a person to the river and watch me play ball by the bridge. I can imagine myself playing that tune by the river. Actually, I play on the beach. I believe some of you will have the same experience. For example, I am speaking now. I am both an observer and an audience. The so-called multitasking. In fact, everyone can do it, jump out and see what they are doing. Buddhism is called contemplation, observing one's thoughts, behaviors and whole life. If you don't have the kung fu, you must learn to observe.
So learn how to generate wisdom, make irrelevant things relevant, and make relevant things irrelevant. For example, if I become a monk, or I don't look like a monk, this new state will be understood. For example, I am not a teacher, so I think I am a teacher. Why can I understand, son? Why do I think I understand education? I feel more and more educated, not in general terms, but day by day. For example, I have never been a father, mother or family, but I walked in at once. This is called turning off.
It is also wise to keep relevant changes open. There is also a way to enlarge the infinite and reduce the infinite, which will also increase wisdom. How to enlarge small infinity? For example, if you directly think that you are the Minister of Education, you are God. I gained wisdom in an instant, and that's how many of my ideas came from. There's one big thing that can narrow it down. Seen from the moon, the earth looks like a ping-pong ball; Isn't the Emperor Building in Shenzhen a birdcage on the plane? He thinks it's great to live in a building. At first glance, you think this is a bit great, don't you? Suddenly there is a feeling of transcendence, that is, to experience. So, shrink the big one, enlarge the small one, and experience it with these feelings, and you will automatically have some insights and wisdom.
Now more and more afraid to teach others, saying I dare to share. Why? The sixth ancestor said, "The inferior have wisdom." Don't look at a child, asking questions can scare people to death. In a temple in Xi 'an, I met a very simple and honest young man, a chef, and what he said was amazing. He looks simple and honest, which makes you feel nothing, but his language is amazing, and I am embarrassed to talk to him. Therefore, in fact, none of us look down upon it. It is possible that your careless words, if you think they are of little use, may wake me up; It is also possible that my words may seem useless, but they can activate your wisdom. Some people always say that the silent master is wise, and I finally understand, not because I am wise, but because the people who listen to me are wise. You understood it as soon as you heard it, but you attributed the credit to me and said I was smart.
So, thank you. I wish you a full harvest these days, a new look and a new operating system, and return to your original posts to present to our children and parents. Thank you and bless you!
