Preventive and control measures

1. Rational rotation: This is an important agricultural measure to change the ecological environment of weeds and reduce the harm of weeds.

2. Physical weeding: The most common method is to cover with plastic film to increase the temperature of plastic film and soil surface, burn weed seedlings or inhibit weed growth.

3. Soil tillage: Using plows, harrows, cultivators and other agricultural tools to cultivate at different times and seasons can kill weeds.

4. Artificial weeding: Setaria viridis has a wide range of adaptation and many ways of transmission. Therefore, it is necessary to alternate 2-3 times around the apple orchard in time to eliminate weeds at seedling stage.

5. Chemical control: Herbicides such as Gramoxone, Lasso, prometryne and Diuron can be used for control.
