First-class protected wild medicinal species: refers to endangered rare wild medicinal species.
Second-class protected wild medicinal species: refers to the important wild medicinal species with reduced distribution area and exhausted resources.
Third-class protected wild medicinal species: refers to the main commonly used wild medicinal species with severely reduced resources.
Legal basis: Regulations on the Protection and Management of Wild Medicinal Materials Resources Article 4 The types of wild medicinal materials under special state protection are divided into three levels:
Grade I: rare and endangered wild medicinal species (hereinafter referred to as Grade I protected wild medicinal species);
Grade II: an important wild medicinal species with reduced distribution area and exhausted resources (hereinafter referred to as Grade II protected wild medicinal species);
Grade III: the main commonly used wild medicinal species with severely reduced resources (hereinafter referred to as Grade III protected wild medicinal species).
