Which is the most suitable for long-term drinking, boiled water, purified water or mineral water?
About the difference between the three, can be analyzed from the definition:

Boiled water: it is water that naturally cools after boiling.

Pure water: it is water that has been treated, purified and purified by multiple processes.

Mineral water: it is water with minerals added after tap water is purified.

As far as the three are concerned, the purity of boiled water is the lowest, and mineral water is added to pure water, but as far as long-term drinking is concerned, the purest is not necessarily the best.

TDS refers to the total amount of dissolved solids, which can explain the content of dissolved substances in water. Dissolved substances in water include minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium, as well as bacteria, pesticides and organic pollutants.

As a student majoring in chemistry, I have done N times of water quality monitoring activities, and finally feel that my major is useful. In water quality monitoring, the standard to judge a water quality is TDS value, which reflects the hardness of water. Comparatively speaking, the TDS value of soft water is low, indicating that the water contains less minerals and is more suitable for daily drinking, but long-term drinking will cause osteoporosis. The high TDS value indicates that the water is usually hard, indicating that there are many minerals or impurities in the water, and it is easy to cause stones after long-term drinking.

In the national standard of drinking water in China, there are clear boundaries for TDS value: purified water is below 50PPM, mineral water 100-200PPM, and tap water is 50-300PPM. The drinking water standard in China is below 100PPM. Therefore, we should pay attention to the combination of soft and hard water in daily life, use pure water when drinking and tap water for cooking. And drink plain or boiled water, and drink less raw water. Because high temperature can kill bacteria and microorganisms.
