What kind of pig is Ningxiang Flower Pig? Ningxiang Flower Pig is native to Cao Chong Village, Liushahe Town, Ningxiang City. As one of the four famous local pig breeds in China, it has a breeding history of more than 300 years. Ningxiang Flower Pig must grow in a completely natural and healthy environment, away from any artificial auxin, so it is called the "three treasures" of Hunan together with Wugang Copper Goose and Dongting Xianglian. In July 2006, Ningxiang pig entered the first batch of livestock and poultry genetic resources protection varieties determined by the Ministry of Agriculture.
