Who knows the specific prescription of Zhou Pingan Ganmao Mixture?
Professor An, a famous Chinese medicine fever expert, chief expert of Oriental Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and doctoral supervisor, said that the effect of his "cold mixture" was amazing, and most patients with cold and fever could be cured in three doses. "Ganmao Mixture" is composed of twelve traditional Chinese medicines, including Herba Ephedrae, Gypsum Fibrosum, Radix Bupleuri, Scutellariae Radix, Radix Isatidis, Flos Lonicerae, Notopterygii Rhizoma, Folium Perillae, etc. It has the effects of dispersing exterior cold and clearing interior heat.

Unfortunately, the prescription flashed on the TV screen was not completely copied down, and the original prescription was composed of twelve kinds of Chinese medicines. But only the above eight drugs were introduced in the program, and the other four were gone. Since we really want to benefit the public, wouldn't it be more successful to publish it all?

After watching the program, I have been thinking about what 12 kinds of Chinese medicines are in this "cold mixture" prescription. Looking through books and materials, I didn't sleep for almost a night, and finally found the source of the prescription, mainly Maxingshi Dry Decoction, Chaigejijie Decoction and Fang Jing Baidu Powder, and added and subtracted drugs with symptoms such as cough and sore throat.

1. Maxingshi dry soup consists of 6 grams of ephedra, 9 grams of almonds, 24 grams of gypsum and 6 grams of licorice. Function: pungent and cool, laxative, clearing lung-heat and relieving asthma. Indications: exogenous wind and heat, or wind and cold blocking heat, stagnation in the lungs, cough, shortness of breath, itchy nose, thirst, persistent high fever, white or yellow tongue coating, and slippery pulse.

2. Chaigejijie Decoction consists of 6 grams of Bupleurum, 9 grams of Radix Puerariae, 3 grams of Radix Glycyrrhizae, 6 grams of Scutellariae Radix, 3 grams of Notopterygium Rhizoma, 3 grams of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, 6 grams of Radix Paeoniae Alba and 3 grams of Radix Platycodi. Function: relaxing muscles and clearing heat. Indications: exogenous wind-cold and depressed heat syndrome. The aversion to cold is getting lighter, body heat is getting stronger, anhidrosis, headache, eye pain, dry nose, irritability, insomnia, dry throat, deafness, eye socket pain, thin yellow tongue coating and reddish pulse.

3. Jingfangbaidu Powder is composed of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, Saposhnikovia divaricata, ginger, Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, Bupleuri Radix, Radix Peucedani, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Fructus Aurantii, Poria, Radix Platycodi 65,438+05g each, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis 5g. Function: Dispelling cold, relieving exterior syndrome and eliminating dampness. Indications: The flu starts at first, common cold and other symptoms, aversion to cold and fever, anhidrosis, severe headache, muscle and joint pain, white and greasy tongue coating, and floating or rapid pulse.

Based on the above three prescriptions and commonly used drugs for treating colds, Lao Zhao personally thinks that the formula of Professor An's "Cold Mixture" should be: roasted ephedra 5g, almond 10g, gypsum 30g (decocted first), licorice 6g, scutellaria 6g, Bupleurum 6g, Notopterygium 6g, Saposhnikovia divaricata 10g, and Radix Isatidis 12.

The above are personal opinions, for reference only, and it is best to go to the hospital for treatment. However, as stated in "Liu Taiyi's Health Enlightenment", I am very opposed to going to the hospital as soon as I get sick and giving fluids as soon as I get to the hospital. It is most important to pay attention to health preservation and keep physical and mental health. It's a pity that I'm sick, so I can't even take some Chinese medicine, let alone infusion easily.
