How to play with building blocks
Material selection-cutting/molding (according to the product structure, various processing technologies will be done)-polishing-coating-assembly of semi-finished products/finished products-packaging.

The manufacturing method of Lego bricks is as follows:

1. All basic Lego components are made of plastic particles, and its main component is acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). A highly automated injection molding process processes these particles into components with specific shapes. Making Lego bricks requires high temperature and huge equipment, so most components can only be managed by machines, not manpower. All the basic Lego components are connected by this principle. They come in various shapes and sizes, including wheels, windows, doors and hollow bricks without protruding points. But the basic components are all changed on the basis of common building blocks.

2. After 2.ABS particles enter Lego production equipment, they are dried in vacuum and then pushed into the silo. A typical Lego workshop has about 14 silos, and each silo can store 33 tons of ABS particles. In the production process, these particles enter the injection molding machine through the pipeline. This machine uses very accurate molds, and the precision tolerance is only 0.002 mm.

3. The machine dissolves the particles at the temperature of 232 degrees Celsius, then injects the dissolved ABS into the mold and applies a pressure of 25 to 150 tons. After about 7 seconds, the brand-new Lego bricks cooled down and fell on the conveyor belt. When they reach the end of the conveyor belt, they will fall into a box When the box is full, the molding machine sends a signal to the robot, and the robot will pick up the box and send it to the assembly workshop. Eight robots in the Bilong factory move 600 boxes of building blocks every hour. In the assembly workshop, machines need to imprint patterns on building blocks and assemble parts that need multiple building blocks, such as mini-figures, also called dolls. The machine assembles parts by precisely applying pressure to specific parts.
