What is the difference between LC and ERCP in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery?
LC refers to laparoscopic cholecystectomy, in which a special catheter is inserted into the abdominal cavity, and then about 2 ~ 5 liters of carbon dioxide is injected. After reaching a certain pressure, four small holes of 0.5 ~ 1.5 cm were opened in the abdomen to dissect the structure of the gallbladder triangle, disconnect and clamp the cystic duct and the gallbladder artery, and then take out the whole gallbladder including stones.

ERCP refers to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, that is, the endoscope is inserted into the descending part of the duodenum to find the duodenal papilla, the contrast tube is inserted into the nipple opening from the endoscopic biopsy hole, and the contrast agent is injected for X-ray cholangiopancreatography, bile bacteriology and cytology examination, biliary tract pressure and sphincter function determination.

The two are completely different.
