Chongqing Wildlife World Scenic Area is one of the largest large-scale eco-tourism parks in China, which integrates wildlife protection, domestication and breeding, eco-tourism, popular science education, animal rescue and recreation. The geographical environment of the park is superior, which is the best wildlife breeding and viewing environment in China at present.

Chongqing Wildlife World has introduced more than 430 species and more than 30,000 rare wild animals from five continents 14 countries, including 260 species in Appendices I and II of international conventions and 260 species under national key protection, 10000 animals. More than 30 kinds of wild animals are extremely rare, including Hu Jin, the only one in China with no more than five in the world, a few silver tigers and white tigers, and the forest antelope in the Andes, the antelope in Mirc and the gray marsh raccoon introduced to Chinese mainland for the first time.

Chongqing Wildlife World is rich in animal species and huge in animal population, which fills the blank of wildlife protection research in the Three Gorges reservoir area, promotes the scale and grade of ecological research in southwest China, and becomes the largest gene bank of wildlife species and animal reproduction research center in the west.

The wild animals in the safari park refer to all kinds of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, mollusks, insects and other animals that live in a natural state and have not been domesticated artificially.
