Practical value of fitness belt
1, support the waist and reduce the risk of injury.
The waist is one of the most vulnerable parts of the human body, and the problem of stress mode can easily lead to waist fatigue and even injury. When we wear a fitness belt for training, the harder belt can provide some support to the waist, hold the excessively bent waist, reduce the fatigue of the lower back during training, and avoid some risks of waist injury.
2. Improve your sports performance.
Because there is a belt to support the waist, proper pressure will reduce the internal volume of the abdominal cavity, and the pressure in the abdomen will increase significantly, so that our most vulnerable lumbar spine will be "tightly wrapped" and thus more stable. For example, squat: you will find yourself more "safe" in training, and then you will focus more on finding the strength of your legs and hips, and you can squat with more weight when you squat.
When do you really need to wear a belt? The belt can increase the "intra-abdominal pressure" and strengthen the stability of the spine and core. But if an action does not obviously put pressure on the core, then the belt is completely unnecessary.
Strength weightlifters will arch their waists high when doing bench presses, because this can reduce the range of motion of barbells and help lift more weight. But this posture is dangerous to the spine and requires a belt.
However, most of our bodybuilders (except those who like weightlifting) aim at building beautiful chest muscles. Our training method basically belongs to the traditional bodybuilding training method, which needs to flatten the lower back, or at most arch slightly. Use the maximum action radian to focus on practicing chest muscles. There is almost no pressure on our spine, so we don't need a belt.
The actions that really need to be taken may be squatting back, squatting forward, pulling hard, paddling and pushing. It is not recommended to use the belt in the warm-up group and low-weight stage of these movements until the heavy-weight formal group.
