Shiyan, referred to as "weir" for short, is a famous automobile market in China and "truck capital" in China. Shiyan is located at the junction of Henan, Shaanxi, Sichuan and Hubei provinces. It is a regional city with good geographical location, pleasant climate and distinct seasons. Known as "the throat of Sichuan and Shaanxi, the thoroughfare of four provinces."

Shiyan City is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, the east of Qinba Mountain, the middle and upper reaches of the Han River, and the junction of western Henan, southwestern Shaanxi and eastern Chongqing. It borders Baokang, Gucheng and Laohekou in Xiangyang City, Hubei Province in the east, Xichuan County in Nanyang City, Henan Province in the northeast and Shangnan, Yang Shan and Zhen 'an County in Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province in the north.
It borders Baihe, Xunyang, Pingli and zhenping county in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province in the west and Shennongjia in Hubei Province and Wuxi County in Chongqing City in the south. The eastern part of Daba Mountain winds south, and the Qinling Mountains block north. The Hanjiang River runs through the whole territory from west to east.
The whole area is about 23,680 square kilometers, the land span is 3130 ′ to 3316 ′ north latitude, and the east-west length is about 2000109 29 ′ to1kloc-0/6 ′ east longitude.
