Chikou community is located in the northernmost part of Chizhou city and belongs to the suburbs. East to the west of Changjiang Road, south to Dengguang Avenue, west to Baiyang River and north to Jiang Yan Road. The area of the jurisdiction is about 1 km2, with 206 1 household and 6 103 population (pure residents account for more than 80% of the total population of the community). There are 7 residents' groups and 7 information workers in the community. Units stationed in the district are: Municipal Port Administration, Chikou Primary School, and Municipal Flood Control and Drought Relief Materials Storage and Transportation Station. The restructured enterprises include Anhui Guorun Tea Co., Ltd. and municipal construction and installation engineering company.

Chikou community always insists on maintaining and developing the fundamental interests of residents as the starting point and end result of community party building work, gives full play to the leading core role of community party organizations, and constantly promotes the development of community party building work.
